Stride obnoxiously blares theirs music at 5:30 am waking up residents at westside apartments. Ever since they opened. They claimed they got additional sound proofing but failed. They are an amateur studio. I work next to a professional stodio go to another professional studio and you cannot hear their music outside the studio. The best thing about the pandemic was when stride was closed!

I think instructors from almost all formats need better training. They seem to lack knowledge in what they’re teaching and are not offering modifications or guidance. The yoga class does not feel like a yoga class because the music is loud, not very yoga-esque music and the lights are very bright compared to other yoga classes I’ve been to. It’s a lot of screaming in the spin class and not much else. There seems to be more focus on choreography in the spin class than actually formatting the class to be a full body workout. The instructors seem all very similar in what they say and the music they play. Instructors have bad form on the bike which is translated in the riders. Riders follow what instructors do and if the instructors had bad form they’re teaching bad habits. I think this studio has a lot of potential but they really need to train instructors better. It’s a risky business to run a fitness studio where the instructor doesn’t feel completely prepared and skilled to teach the class.

I have never been able to find a better spin studio than Stride Fitness. Not only do they offer amazing and diverse spin classes but they also offer a great boxing class. Each of the instructors listen and adjust their classes based off of feedback from customers. The front desk workers always welcome you with a smile and provided me with excellence assistance regarding my membership extension. Stride Fitness was very understanding and allowed me to extend my 20 class membership card due to recent obstacles regarding COVID-19 when I inquired. All the staff members have handled the extra tasks regarding cleaning procedures and shown respect for the safety and wellness of their customers.

I don't think you can find a better place with a variety of classes and instructors. I have taken over 100 spin classes and all of them have been excellent. I have also taken barre classes but spin is my go to. The instructors are knowledgeable and have great energy. The owners care about members and are always asking for opinions on classes and scheduling. There is literally something for everyone here.

I scheduled a class here using the $10 first-timer deal after a friend recommended it for reformer pilates. I wasn't feeling well the morning of and cancelled my reservation. I got a late fee but that's understandable and was clearly communicated to me. I'm now trying to reschedule my class for a different day, and I'm being told that I'll need to pay an extra $18 in order to drop into a class! Apparently the $10 expires one week after purchase (stated nowhere when purchasing on the website). Extremely disappointed in this studio, will be cutting my loss, and taking my business elsewhere. Good luck getting into a class a week out if you plan to use the first time deal! They fill up super fast and as of today, they're booked out 3 weeks in advance. I just don't understand how they can tell you the credit is only valid for one week if their classes are booked three weeks in advance? One big scam imo. TLDR; Took $10 from me and attempted to charge me another $18 when rescheduling. $10 first timer deal expires one week after purchase and classes are booked three weeks out.
