I’ve been coming here for the past 2 plus years and I’m obsessed. Erica is great at what she does, she’s very knowledgeable and patient and understanding. She listens to your concerns and gives educated advice of treatment. I’ve booked with Jade one time for a trim and she was great as well, trained by the master I’m sure. It’s a great family business. I live in Jersey now and every time I come back to PA I make sure to book an appointment ahead. I love the new location too.

Friendly and so personable. They helped me pick the right dye for my hair because I was clueless. Love the accessories too, lots of nice things to purchase to make yourself look and feel good!

Exceeded my expectations. As someone who has had alopecia her whole life… I felt so taken care of in Erica’s beautiful salon. My service was to help me embrace my newly grown in hair. I was nervous about coming out of my wig, but Jada made me feel so at ease. I left feeling 1000x more confident and wig free!!! Thank you thank you!!!

Love this salon and store! I have been a customer of the owner for over 10 years and have always had excellent customer service and know my hair is in good hands. My sons now get their locs and braids cared for by Jada. If you are looking for knowledgeable stylists and a fully stocked store, Ryan Skye is that place!

I would give Ryan Skye ten stars if I could.I’ve had a string of negative experiences at other salons that have made me wary of seeking out professional help for my hair.Months ago I had stopped into the store in search of a deep conditioner and Erica was warm and friendly, and was able to recommend a great product for me.This inspired me to book with her whenever I needed hair services next and I’m so glad I did.I never felt like a burden or a nuisance, the vibe in the salon is inviting and vibrant and I left feeling amazing. I’ll be coming back for as long as the salon is open.

I was excited to visit the salon for the first time but unfortunately I did not have a good experience. When I met with the hair stylist, I asked about getting a particular style, a ponytail. She said that she did not do that style. I expressed that I was attending an event and needed something more than a basic wash, blow dry, and curl. Another stylish was offered later in the day but I was not available at that time. I agreed to go with the basic service. The manager asked that stylist if she felt "comfortable" doing my hair. I was not unprofessional or raising my voice at any time. I simply asked why the style could not be done. It felt like the manager was looking for a reason to not have me as a client. She was setting a tone and demonstrated a poor attitude. I went to get my hair washed and brought my own shampoo and conditioner. (Which is saving the salon money on products). The stylist then said she couldn't service me because I had a conditioner and conditioning mask. It was clear that the salon had a lack of basic customer service, especially for a brand new client. There was a tone of we don't need you as a client. In all my years of getting my hair done, I have never encountered this attitude and poor service. At quality full service hair salons, there are trained and licensed stylists that can do a multitude of services and value their clients. This salon, unfortunately, is not one of those places.

I visited this store for the first time yesterday after looking for items to do my daughter's hair. I had a very pleasant experience and the owner was very nice and welcoming. I will definitely visit regularly for my hair care needs. Seems to be a decent black owned business. They have my support.
