I reached out to Christi to get some advice for a weird tax situation. She was very gracious with her time, effectively grasping the situation and giving me very actionable next steps to address it. Her candor and ethos were refreshing. I'll be reaching out to her again after tax season wraps up to discuss financial planning opportunities.

How many times can I say thank you to one person. Christi not only helped us greatly with getting our taxes to a manageable position, but also sends a recap video so we can actually see what she did and how everything adds up and how we've progressed or regressed throughout the year. We also have set up a check in throughout the year where she gives amazing advice and food for thought with our growing family. I had been so frustrated with our previous CPA and to know I can count on Christi and that she hears and understands our goals is such a weight lifted off our shoulders. I'll add another to the list Thank you Christi!!

Such a big help. Christi was in contact with me within 48 hours with the answers I was looking for. I am in the process of starting an LLC and start ups isn’t exactly what she does so instead of leaving me high and dry, she still reached out to me and made sure I was in good hands with another firm that could fulfill my needs. Not only one, she gave me options. So helpful and very thankful that I called her. Awesome business woman. ???

Unresponsive to queries. They have a section for questions on their website which I filled out. I had high hopes because of the positive reviews but no answer or even acknowledgement. Disappointing.

I hired Christi to do my 2015 and then 2016 taxes as a new business. I was later audited by the IRS for 2015. Christi gave me some files, but did not offer to help, or explain the process to me...I was shocked at her lack of concern, compassion, or willingness to walk me through an audit...time which I'd have expected to pay for. I was so shocked I took my 2017 taxes to the person who did support me through the process. For the 2016 tax year I did buy her "audit insurance" which is supposedly a guarantee of support during an audit. But Christi is NOT standing by the audit insurance because I was not a client last year...."that makes no business sense...so I will not help you." In other words - the guarantee means absolutely nothing. But to be honest, after her tone/message around 2015's audit, I expected as much. So if she doesn't help when you are a client, and won't stand by her audit insurance, then I don't really know why anyone would want to have her as a tax accountant. I'm deeply disappointed. It's all about revenue, less about client service.

Christi is fantastic, highly reccomend her to anyone who not only wants someone to file taxes, but will help you plan and provide valuable insight on any tax law changes. She has also been a great resource when starting my business, she loves working with entrepreneurs so if you have a business or are starting one I would very seriously consider her.

A friend recommended Christi Bender to us 6 years ago, after our frustration with CPA's who made it clear that we were not "big enough" to treat with respect. She has saved us money over the years, and not only because her fees are reasonable. Previous CPA's had left money on the table, and we overpaid as a consequence. I like Christi's directness, her forthright approach to matters, her absence of pomposity, and that she does not sugar-coat the facts. This is chemistry: if you prefer funereal seriousness, you may not be happy with her directness. But you should be happy with her results, and results are what matters.

Christi was recommended to us 7 years ago and we couldn't be happier. We've gone from 3 state returns down to 1 state finally, but we still come back to Christi every year. She's reliable, organized, thorough, friendly, and very easy to work with.
