Delicious cold brew and really nice baristas. There's so many great options for drinks and this is also the perfect place to stop by to stock up for a picnic. You could sit in here and do work, but the seating is more for a little chat versus a long haul work day. This shop is in a garage in a good way. Great philly spot with awesome coffee. Silly chairs outside they're very low and the tables are very high but it's fun that way

An absolute gem of a coffee shop in South Philly. Not only do they have such a unique menu & creative items - they also have a wide selection of pantry items that I could spend hours searching through. My favorite was the sichuan mocha (I will never forget that drink) and gf enjoyed the speculoos latte. We even bought a bag of beans to bring back to my dad for his birthday. I LOVE IT HERE

Delicious coffee and super nice people. I definitely recommend the Nutella latte. I don't have a dog but it's dog friendly and they give free dog treats :)

Unique take on a cafe. Excellent latte probably because they roast their own beans. Love the names of their coffee beans. It's not really a sit down cafe but they do have outside seating. Thankfully it was a warm December day. They have a nice selection of items for sale such as syrups, marmalades and bitters. Great place to stop by for an afternoon latte.

I love this coffee store. This is a very unique store. It has an array of unique food items for purchase. If you love chocolate they literally have hundreds of different unique chocolate bars for sale here. The coffee is amazing too. I had a great Cortado here. The flavor and presentation was good. Outside was a local resident selling his homemade ceramic wear. What a nice guy. I purchased 2 beautiful black and tan ceramic mugs. I love supporting local and the mugs were gorgeous. This is a spot worth stopping if you love coffee, chocolate, unique items, and local wear.

Very solid coffee, and arguably excellent price compared to your average coffee shops nowadays. Ive gotten specialty lattes here for $4.50-$5 or under, where as at most coffee shops it's usually north of $6.50 now, and quality wise it's definitely comparable!! Their pumpkin spice latte is very good. Also have a nice array of fun random groceries. Had to take a point off bc from my experience sometimes the service has been cold and oddly slow even when it's empty

What a cool spot! After ordering your drink (which can be anything from coffee, coffee mocktails, teas, matcha lemonade, or their seasonal menu), you can peruse their awesome assortment of specialty foods - from tinned fish (and ceramics!), tons of chili oil, sauces, jams and fruit curds, various chocolates, to mixers, mocktails, no alcohol liquors, and interesting bitters. Would love to come again when it's warmer to enjoy the cute outdoor seating!

Baristas are super rude and talk about the customers. It's dirty there are rat traps and dust balls all over the floor. They have back stock of boxes on the ground and it's supposedly dog friendly but dogs pee on the boxes and they don't clean it. Not worth it there are 4 coffee shops in the neighborhood go somewhere else...

I really enjoyed Herman's! Anytime I travel to a new city I try to find a great coffee chop that serves proper espresso drinks. The cappuccino was excellent. The vibe was exactly what I was looking for. They also had an awesome selection in the market area.

Had high hopes because of the reviews but was not satisfied. Mocha latte was ok and customer service was poor. Tried to order a macchiato w/ vanilla and he told us no because its basically a latte. Tres leches donut and vanilla latte were good. The place was like an open coffee shop/mini market but i didn't even wanna look around because the employees made me wanna just get my coffee and go. Will not be returning.

Can't believe it took me so long to try this place! I stopped by to get a pastry and coffee on a Saturday morning. It was busy but I didn't have to wait too long. Plus, waiting for my drink to be made gave me an opportunity to check out all of the neat goods they sell (hot sauce, cookies, ice cream, etc.) The merchandise is also great - fanny packs, baseball caps, mugs, and more, all branded with a lawn chair on them.I got a cheese danish and an iced pistachio rose latte. Both were absolutely delicious! I definitely see myself becoming a regular at Herman's.

This coffee shop is quite popular. Especially because there's always pop up events including some food trucks and my favorite pretzels: Pretzel Day Pretzels. They also have some merchandise such as mocktails, drink mixes, Milk Jawn ice cream, and frozen MomMom Pierogies. I was lucky to get the last of the cheesesteak pierogie.I had decaf cappuccino. It was pretty good.

Amazing coffee, great selection of imported sundries and fresh local items, and often hosting incredible food trucks. 10/10 recommend making this your local coffee stop. Try the Vietnamese latte -- flavored with phô-inspired spices, perfectly warms ya on these cold winter mornings.

Love the Pennsport Fog--their version of the London fog. Also one of the few coffee places in this area that is open early enough for me to get some before work.

Herman's coffee is a cute coffee shop and exotic corner store! I walked here expecting to get some good coffee, and I got so much more! It took every bit of self control to not buy armfulls of goodies from their market. Hot sauces, beef jerky, and specialty cooking seasoning and sauces. The iced latte I ordered was delicious and absolutely something to write home about! A good espresso coffee with not-to-much flavored syrup as to not overpower the flavor. I sat in one of their iconic red folding lawnchairs outside the shop to sip my coffee and relax, and it was such a nice environment to be in. The place was busy and bustling too with a steady stream of customers coming in. If i didn't know from my own experience that this was the place to be, then the number of folks walking up to the shop or driving up was a sure sign.
