This shop was awesome. Right in the city center and Tina the owner personally took perfect care of us. I was on FaceTime with my wife and tina was helping me pick out shirts and hoodies. Tina was a breath of fresh air. She has a small business that she loves and just wants to make people happy. Me and my buddy felt so welcome in such a different city. So if you ever visit Philly this is a MUST. She also taught us some history of the city.

My family and I had a great experience. Tina, the owner, was incredibly welcoming, warm, knowledgeable and engaging. She told us about the best places to try around and recommend her favorites, which were great! Her shop was wonderful and the prices were great! The variety of her merchandise was great and we found more than what we were looking for.Not only was she incredibly friendly, we even discussed upcoming vacations and she recommended where to go in her home country. We truly had a wonderful experience, I'll be going back again! Stopping by her store was one of the best parts of our trip to Philly.

All the reviews saying the owner is mean are crazy she is the nicest person I've met in Philadelphia, and I've met a lot of nice people here. The prices are fair and she has a great variety of stuff to choose from if you're going to a different gift shop, I suggest trying this one out first cuz you'll probably get a better price here. This was me and my family's first trip to Philadelphia and she definitely helped make it a memorable one if you're visiting philly you owe it to yourself to give this place a shot.P.S Thanks Tina!!!

I wanted to stop and get souvenirs before heading back to North Carolina and found Xenos gifts downtown Philadelphia. Ms. Tina Hu made me feel comfortable to shop at her store. She was very polite and showed interested in where I was from. If you are in the area and want to get great keep sakes and have a good laugh, stop by to see Ms. Hu. Hi Ms. Hu, it’s Cookie.

Do not recommend Xenos.Go to Old City Souvenir on 305 Market St. instead. The Asian lady behind the counter wasted no time at yelling at my children like they were looting her store and being careless, while all they were doing was looking at souvenirs (like any customer would) that they wanted to buy with their own money. I get being nervous when there are children in your store but I was watching mine and they were behaving. There’s consequences in our family that they’ll suffer if they don’t. She just jumped the gun on them right away. Even I was taken a back by how aggressive she was with her tone and the way she kept raising her voice and glaring at my children even after I politely told her that all they were doing was looking at what they wanted to buy and that they were being careful. Her behavior was weird and completely unnecessary. It was a perfect opportunity to teach my kids that when you get treated in such a manner especially from a business establishment without justification, that they have the power to walk out and take their business elsewhere. Which is what we did. We went to Old City Souvenir on market street where we weren’t treated like pariah’s and spent our money there. Learn some manners lady.

I've lived in and around Philly for decades and never stopped in to this shop. It's truly geared to visitors to Philadelphia. Fun place, but if you're from here maybe not a must stop!

Came in here a couple weeks ago on a day trip from NYC. Tina was amazing! Super happy to support her and her shop! She had all the gifts I wanted (and then some) that Independence Hall had but cheaper. She was also so friendly and we had a great long chat too about where to eat, things to do when I visit next, how to get around etc! I was traveling solo and she was so caring and concerned for my safety. So very kind! Will visit her again next time I'm in town, if only to say hi haha! (And I know her name was Tina bcz the door was locked and the sign said to call Tina at this number and I did and she came over and let me in. She was in the basement but came right up!)

I initially came here in June after staying in Philly for a conference. I loved it so much that I decided to come back months later on my return to Philly. The shop owner Tina is so humble and she made great conversations and was so helpful. She made me feel so welcomed and now every time I am in to Philadelphia I will be sure to stop by this sweet little gift shop.

So I was here 2 minutes ago and it was closed,But the couple that owned the place pulled up and open it.The lady open it she help with sizing and gave us so many different compliments like “How are you so slim?” “How tall is your dad he is probably 6,5” and many more. The family that owns the place is a gift from god. And if the lady looks at this, Hey it’s me Rocky!.

I had the most wonderful experience at Xenos Candy N Gifts, all thanks to the amazing owner, Tina. From the moment I walked into her store, I was greeted with warmth and kindness that instantly made me feel at home. Tina's friendly demeanor and genuine smile were truly heartwarming, and her hospitality was beyond compare.During my visit, I happened to be suffering from an allergy attack, and Tina's thoughtfulness was on full display. Without hesitation, she offered me a soothing cough drop, which was a small gesture but meant so much in that moment. It's rare to find such compassion and care in a business owner, and Tina exceeded all expectations. Not only was Tina incredibly sweet and accommodating, but she also went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. She took the time to inquire about our trip and upon learning that we were visiting from out of town, she graciously offered to be our personal tour guide. Tina provided us with a map and shared the most popular tourist spots in the area, along with safe routes to take. This personal touch made a world of difference in our experience as visitors, and we felt like we were being guided by a local friend rather than a stranger.Throughout our time in her store, Tina's passion for her business and her community was evident. Her knowledge about the products she offers and her love for the area shone through in every interaction. It's rare to find someone so invested in their store and genuinely interested in making their customers' experience special.I can't recommend Tina and her wonderful shop enough. If you find yourself in town, Xenos Candy N Gifts is an absolute must-visit, not just for the variety and selection of gifts but also for the heartwarming experience that Tina creates for everyone who walks through her door.I am already looking forward to my next visit to town, and without a doubt, we will definitely be back to see her again. Thank you, Tina, for making our visit so memorable and for being a shining example of what a truly wonderful business owner should be. You have a customer for life!
