We were extremely nervous, as our cat was ill for several days and vomiting. Other vets would not give me a fairly reasonable or quick appt. The staff scheduled us as a new patient immediately with kindness and empathy. During the visit, the doctor and staff were extremely attentive, concerned, caring and knowledgeable. They were gentle and patient, as our cat Dixon was extremely fearful. We left feeling that they truly care and that Dixon received thorough and excellent care. We are confident that they gave him the best treatment and highly recommend World of Animals to anyone who truly wants the best love and care. We are extremely grateful and will be making them our new vet for Dixon and our other two Casts.

We switched to WOA for our animal family a year ago and couldn’t be happier. Communication is clear, it’s easy to get an appointment, and it’s clear everyone on staff loves animals. We never have any issues with bringing in our reactive dog Mila, as we notified them prior to her first appointment of her issues, so she’s always immediately roomed upon arrival for everyone’s well-being. And we’re in the midst of a medical workup/surgery for our other meatball Sophie, and I couldn’t be more confident that she’s in excellent and compassionate hands.

Dr. Miko Flasik saved my cat Binx life. She unblocked his urinary blockage (2nd blockage in 3 days) and her staff helped find a lower cost clinic to accommodate the life-saving surgery he needed to never have a blockage again. She also let me come back following the surgery right before they closed to check on him and ensure he was ok. I cannot thank her and her team enough.

We took our cat Toast for her annual wellness check early march. The techs were super kind and pleasant to talk to. They were also super sweet to toast and even allowed us to take some treats from their lil stash to help calm her down.

I thought my vet was helpful and attentive but struggled with disrespectful tech Also unsure why they require Q6 month labs for medications that do not require lab monitoring per FDA guidelines.

Best vet office I’ve ever taken my dog to. I can’t recommend this office highly enough. The compassion and patience they show my reactive dog makes both of us so much more comfortable!

If you care about your pet, take them anywhere else but World of Animals. Horrible, do not care, give wrong medicine doses, give wrong vaccines, practice manager not present, revolving cast of vets because no one wants to stay, the vet techs and front desk staff are practically children with obviously little experience. I was told by a former employee of theirs that they will hire anyone because they can't keep anyone - well, it shows!! I have switched to Art City and the level of care is like night and day. I very much recommend Art City Vets instead.

I have two cats who went to different clinics for their first visit and I can confidently say that World of Animals is the best and most affordable vet clinic in the Philadelphia area. At another place i was upcharged $140 just for exam, while World of Animals was only $90 visit fee. First difference between the clinics I noticed is that World of Animals staff treated my cat like she was the most beautiful girl in the world. Dr Flasik handled my cat with great care and definitely spent more time getting to know my cat than the other clinic did. Also the other place tried to sell me on Hills and gave me a goodie bag obviously marketed by Hills, while Dr Flasik and her team supported my cat's variety wet food diet as long as I brush my cat's teeth. Dr Flasik also took more time and care in addressing any issues or concerns I had about behavior. Overall, the vet and techs are highly knowledgeable about animals. This place truly cares about your pets like they are family, and I would NOT recommend going to a big corporate chain (VCA) even if they offer you a "complimentary exam" like I did for my kitten.

Absolutely amazing. Thank you for your competence, compassion, and effectiveness. The vet knew exactly what my dog needed and the staff helped my senior dog who has limited mobility walk. The staff was fast and efficient and most importantly, strong. Not all dogs are small to medium sized and it helps to have technicians on-hand who are able to help support dogs that are large to giant sized. My mastiff and I have been together for the last 12 years and have experienced our share of veterinary care. World of Animals South Philly deserves all five stars. Eleanor is walking and able to enjoy herself again. Thank you so much, World of Animals South Philly!
