My dog has seen Dr. McMahon and Dr. Lee, both very good vets who were kind and made sure I had opportunities to ask any questions. I appreciate not feeling rushed out, they care about my dog!

Excellent staff- very friendly, warm, and loving with the animals. Dr. Cravens has a knack for clearly explaining all the options in layman’s terms. Can’t recommend this place enough!

My dogs have never been seen at this vet.
Yet on May 16 I received an email wishing my dog Pippa a Happy Birthday. Pippa passed away in July 2022. I did not receive a birthday greeting for either of them in 2022.
I emailed them to let them know of the mistake and that it greatly upset me to be randomly reminded that Pippa has passed on.
I received a response saying that because I had made an appt (on May 16, they put that date in as my dogs birthday) then later cancelled it. It was my responsibility to ‘call them and close the record’ So basically they said it was my fault. I had explained how getting this email ruined my day as I still deal with grief for my pet.
They said ‘they hope my day improves’ and signed it with an initial instead of a name. Just ‘A’
I tried to reach out to the practice to resolve this and let them know their staff may need some training in customer service and how to handle pet loss with compassion but I never heard back.
They are now corporate owned so things like this are to be expected when they use outside marketing services.
Find a local privately owned vet of which there are many great choices in the city.

I moved back to the area and heard great things about World of Animals. I took my dog, who has had some mild, yet chronic health issues to get re-established at a vet in the area. Making the appointment was seamless and interacting with the front desk staff and vet tech was fine; where it went off the rails was when Dr. McMahon walked in. She much have looked at my dog's chart beforehand and the first thing that came out of her mouth was "wow you're dog is such a weirdo." While I am sure she meant this in a joking manner, this was not funny and certainly not the way to build rapport with a patient. My dog started licking his groin since he experiences chronic itchiness and Dr. McMahon just goes "eww!" That set the tone for the visit; the bedside manner was abhorrent, immature, and insensitive. While I am sure the clinical advice that Dr. McMahon gave was valid, I knew was not the place I wanted to care for my pet. I was also shocked to learn afterwards that Dr. McMahon is the Medical Director of this particular office. My dog and I have since found another vet in the city where the bedside manner and professionalism is as strong and sound as the clinical knowledge and capabilities

The staff is friendly and helpful and the office is clean!
They are timely, take time to answer questions, and make my dog feel comfortable. I highly recommend World of Animals at Rittenhouse!

We’ve been taking our dog to WofA for years and couldn’t recommend them more. Dr. McMahon has helped us through everything from bowel obstructions to bites at daycare to stomach bugs to routine visits and she’s always so so wonderful. She’s a great doctor and provides excellent care while also being so warm and helping our pup feel comfortable. The techs are all great too and I love that we can easily schedule tech visits for his vaccine boosters. Take your animals here, they’ll be in good hands.

We've been going here for two years, and the care is truly top tier. Dr. McMahon is compassionate, funny, and thorough. My dog has a sensitive tummy, and Dr. M has never brushed off our concerns about it, and multiple times the staff has worked to see us on short notice.
Recently, Sadie was kind enough to provide advice and a mini check-up and some sensitive tummy food when my dog was having a particularly bad bout of stomach upset. I called at 9am on a Sunday and had a plan going forward by 9:15, and he's on the mend now.
Cannot recommend World of Animals highly enough, they have taken such great care of Tripp during more than one health scare, everyone who works there is both personable and professional, and they are great at answering questions and providing any documentation needed so I can fly with my dog. We love Dr. McMahon and WoA so much!

I love using World of Animals for my dog! He is not good at the vet but they are professional and kind and not afraid. They know what to do to keep him (and me) calm and get the job done quickly and efficiently to not delay our time there and my pet's anxiety. I know we are in really good hands when we go to WoA and I highly recommend to all.

BEWARE THIS IS THE WORST VETERINARY SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
Long time patient for 4 years but World of Pets has gone down hill completely since they changed Veterinarians. Prices through the roof. Pushing medicines with full color brochures before even completing basic exam.
But the worst part is their completely unprofessional conduct by the Vets. Received a terminal diagnosis for dog followed by a text message with a different diagnosis a week later…..and then have called twice over 3 days since the text message and NO RETURN PHONE CALL.

I have to say that World of Animals is one of the most compassionate vets I’ve ever had the pleasure of taking both my cats to. I unfortunately had to put my cat Hermes down due to cancer and the utmost care that Dr. McMahon and her staff gave him was above and beyond. One of the vet techs went across the street to a store and gave him ice cream as a treat he could have in his final moments. They were very gentle with him, which was important to me since he was my childhood cat and I grew up with him.
I am forever grateful for what they did for my baby boy. Thank you to the staff for your wonderful treatment of Hermes as he crossed the rainbow bridge!

Zero stars. The only veterinarian at this place misdiagnosed my little young pup with a progressive terminal disease with a touch of her finger, while she was sitting on the floor playing with her. Then she laughed and said not to worry about it. I called crying after the visit with this insensitive vet and she again was laughing with her coworkers while I was crying on the phone. This was the very last time I went there. I found an experienced compassionate vet who said, "Absolutely the wrong diagnosis, your little one has nothing wrong with her, she's perfectly healthy."If you go here, please get a second opinion if your pet gets a diagnosis of anything at this place. It caused me too much heartache to hear this from this vet and will never forgive her for this. Never

The entire staff at World of Animals go out of the way to make sure my pet gets great care. They communicate regularly throughout procedures and follow up to make sure things are on track. I have a great deal of confidence entrusting them with the wellbeing of my puppy. Finally the clinic is well organized, all staff are friendly, and it is easy to get the paperwork you need for record keeping and insurance. Would absolutely recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a reliable vet for their pet.

Dr. McMahon and her team at World of Animals are the best in the business! Dr. McMahon is an experienced clinician with a compassionate bedside manner that put me at ease over concerns about my dog’s medical condition. Additionally, my dog instantly fell in love with her technician, Sadie, who expertly handled him throughout the appointment. I cannot recommend this practice enough!

I can't believe it! I've been going to this vet for nearly two years now, and today they had the to cancel my appointment just because I was 15 minutes late. I even called ahead to let them know we might be running late. We are walking 30min from our apartment in cold winter . We arrived there 15min late , we are already in the their door and they call me and telling me I have to reschedule or cancelled. What a ridiculous excuse for canceling! Fine, if they don't want to provide the service, There are plenty of other great vets in the area that I can go to instead! This is just unacceptable!
