A pharmacy earns its rating when the customer is in need. When I was in need, Westlake Village failed me and lost my trust. This has been my pharmacy for over five months. I am handicapped and live in a nursing home in SW Philadelphia. The pharmacy accepted me as a new customer and I transferred all 12 medications to their care. They filled my prescriptions and delivered them to me.Recently they deliver the wrong dosage of a medication for my bladder. I notified their pharmacist on 2/26 of their error. He apologized and promised to deliver the right prescription the next day. After speaking with the pharmacist today, he refused to deliver the needed medication, even though that is the arrangement they agreed upon with the nursing home. I have have missed TWO DAYS OF MEDICATION. If not delivered tomorrow, it will be three days. It probably isn’t criminal to send out the wrong medication but when the problem was realized, it is is certainly unethical to not deliver it to a customer who can’t walk and is confined to a wheelchair. I even asked the manager on duty to send it to me by Uber if he couldn’t deliver. He wouldn’t do.it.I guess in this case the customer isn’t right, even if the pharmacy MISHANDLES your prescription.

Great experience. Well stocked with better pricing than the bigger chains. Most importantly, I found the Pharmacist to be exceptionally knowledgeable and immensely helpful. Will highly recommend this neighborhood Pharmacy .

This pharmacy has been around serving the community for the past 40 years by ONE owner. This must mean something. Try this pharmacy if you want your prescriptions filled by a pharmacist who cares about you, rather than matrix-driven corporate giants!

Not my experience... both the owner /pharmacist and employees are very personable and helpful giving caring advice about the pros/cons of particular medicines. One of the few boutique pharmacies that offer a personal touch. - Randy Zeitman (1/25/13)
