Not highly recommended. We stayed for 2 nights, and the the room was right in front of the elevator. We we could hear every thing that does not let us to sleep. The hot water in the shower did not work and the water pressure was very weak. The room smelled like wet laundry. We also asked for additional towel for at least 5 times, but was delivered at 11pm. We asked for a room change, and they said they cant guarantee it due to big wedding guests group. However, with more than 10 calls, we were able to change the room by the second day 6pm. The changed room was quite and hot water worked with no problem. If we had to stay both nights in the first room, I would have given them 2 stars, but since things worked out, I would say it wasn't a terrible experience. The location itself is awesome. walkable distance to all transportation.

The location of this hotel was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very spacious (4 people, 2 double beds), however, the drainage in the bath wasn't that great. So the last person who took a shower was standing in a small dirty pool, not the most fun experience. We only stayed for one night, so we didn't ask them to fix it, so maybe it's not a common issue.

My husband and I stayed for two nights while visiting our daughter. The hotel is located in a beautiful location surrounded by shops and restaurants and history. This is a very walkable city. The hotel is lovely. Our room had a great king bed. Very comfortable. There wasn’t a bedspread or blanket on the bed which was very strange. It looked like housekeeper started making the bed then left. We snooped and found a bag in the closet with an old blanket in it and took our chances and covered up with it. The tub was super slippery. No safety features whatsoever. The sink took up a large amount of the space. The cabinet that housed the sink was ruined by water damage but painted over to hide it. It just looked bad. The towels were nice. The second day we had zero hot water. It was summer in Philly and we walked the whole day and really needed showers. We called to front desk but they never answered. The hold recording did have a message on repeat while I waited. It said they are proud their rooms come with personal espresso machines and mini fridges. I was surprised because our coffee maker was a tiny plastic thing that was probably $15 on Amazon. We were told we had complimentary bottled water in our room. I looked. There was one small bottle for two adults. The mini fridge was nonexistent. We had what the maintenance man Lonnie explained was a “cooler.” They only have 6 mini fridges for a 400 room hotel and he said those are reserved for families with babies or people who need to refrigerate insulin. But all rooms have a cooler. ???I gave the desk minutes on hold waiting for them to answer- so my husband and I redressed and went downstairs in person to ask about the hot water issue. There were two women at the desk. (And yet don’t answer their ringing phone???) One woman at the desk said she will page maintenance and they will come have a look. My husband asked if there were gym showers and I quickly said no- we want a different room if the hot water isn’t working!!!! We went back up to the room and in 20 minutes (11:30pm at this point) Lonnie the maintenance man arrived and told us we have to turn on the sink faucet “like this” at the same time as the shower faucet “like that”for the water water to get hot. He said give it a 1/2 hour and if nothing, call again. I was furious. So we waited and it took 30 minutes for the water to heat up and we were able to shower. There are so many beautiful hotels in Philly. I would definitely check out other ones before you settle. This was our first time to visit our daughter there. She works around the corner of the hotel, so it seemed convenient. Little did we know there are many nice hotels within a 5 minute walk. Take your time and read reviews. Do not rely on what the hotel puts in their description.

This hotel is filthy. The rooms are not cleaned. I had to hover over the toilet seat during my stay due to there being filth on the seat. The lobby is beautiful but once you step on the elevator it’s a whole other story. The floors smell like mildew and garbage. The water temperature for the shower doesn’t work so good luck taking either burning hot or freezing cold showers during your entire stay. Rooms are outdated and the carpets are filthy. Nothing works. Outlets are hanging on by a prayer. The entire time during my stay, even with dead bolting my door I was terrified someone would try to enter my room without permission. Do not stay here. Save yourself the drama. They will even add mysterious charges onto your account while you’re there, after check out and 2 weeks later. My bank is currently disputing both fraud and theft charges with them. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. The front desk staff have the worst attitudes. The manager Robert talked down to my husband and I during our entire stay and was hostile and argumentative. No customer service skills. Just horrible.

I stayed at this hotel and it was a nightmare. The first room I had the outlets did not work, the rug stank and had spots all over it. The air conditioner did not work. The phone in the room did not work so I had to use the phone in the hallway. When the maintenance man came to fix the air conditioner the filter was so dirty he had to change the entire air conditioner and it was going to take time. So the hotel ended up changing our room into a smaller room. This is where the nightmare starts. We thought we checked the beds thoroughly but when we went to sleep we were getting bit up by bed bugs. We tell the manager and staff and they ask us if we want another room. They were not apologetic at all. My family and I had to take an Uber all the way from Philly back home to New York. We had to throw out all of our belongings. Do not stay here!!!Rooms: The rugs stank and the furniture is old. The beds have bed bugs.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the center of Rittenhouse with plenty of stores and shops nearby. When you arrive you are greeted by an absolutely gorgeous lobby and the hotel also has a fitness and business center which is important to me for printing and doing my work. Stay was fantastic and staff was friendly, especially the valet in the front!!

Centrally located in a fantastic part of town with some good amenities!!! The rooms could have used some love and care...paint peeling, bathtubs that felt like they would go through the floor. The cleanliness was also not the greatest, had to request mid-stay turn-dow service when we discovered blood on the sheets from the previous stay. The price was high because of the number of events in Philly so I suspect under more normal circumstances it could be a good value stay. I do stress however, check the bed to make sure they actually changed the sheets.Rooms: Sizeable room and bathroom, not the cleanest.Nearby activities: Rittenhouse Square, high end shopping, high end restaurants, financial center.Walkability: Centrally located to great restaurants, bars, and just about everything to do in Philly. If not walkable for you (about 15 minutes usually), then it is a short 5 minute car ride.

One of the better bell services. Steven was very friendly and took exceptional care of our vehicle as well as baggage. Love the Rittenhouse location in Philadelphia. Would definitely recommend and will be revisiting. Nice hotel , no pool was a little letdown.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The lobby is nice and the restaurant was nice as well, however the furniture looks old and scratched like you’ll get from goodwill, the bathroom was not cleaned well and the over room was dusty. The bed is VERY FIRM. I am not sure if their doubles are any different but the front desk didn’t seem like she was really interested in what I was saying. Definitely will stick to Marriott.

Stayed 5-21-23; good shower, comfortable bed. Rm 422 door lock did not lock from hall side; door could be pushed open. Once in; it could be locked (not good; needs repaired) Clarify valet/parking cost: I was told 2 opposing things. But they finally did include it. Garage is dingy for self-parking. Chrome vanity leg has corrosion. Beautiful lobby. Steve the doorman very helpful. No view from this room. Seemed relatively clean.Walkability: Good location. Was out around 9:30 pm alone & felt perfectly safe.

I chose this hotel because I had fond memories of a great stay in the early 90’s when I visited Philadelphia. The lobby is nice looking, but the room looked as though it hasn’t seen a lot of maintenance. Our double queen room was spacious but was surprised how beat up the bathroom vanity was. The real let down was at the checkout. Only one person working the desk at prime checkout time resulted in a long wait. I asked for change because I wanted to tip various people. They don’t have any at the desk. I was told to ask the bellman who was really rude about telling me that he didn’t have any and the desk doesn’t know what he had in his pocket. I was pretty shocked with the rudeness of the unhelpful staff. Maybe they are not used to guest tipping because others, like me, are put off by unpleasant exchanges with the staff. The only thing I was pleased with was the extremely nice car valet despite the very high parking fee. The unpleasant exchange with staff destroyed my good memories and made me sad because the Warwick seems to have declined in many ways.

Great location. Wonderful vibes. Modern and fun lobby with restaurants open at varying times. Staff was helpful and kind. Rooms are a bit older but spacious. Enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again if I was going to downtown events. Many restaurants are walkable in the area.

Lobby area is really nice. Staff was excellent from bell service to check in. Room was a great value but we had an extreme slow sink in bathroom. Which I called to front desk but nobody answered. Tv in room was dated and blurry nor was it suitable for streaming. Bug / spider on windowsill. But it's city and old building so not a complete turnoff.Rooms: DatedWalkability: Walking distance to Rittenhouse Park. And many restaurants.

Great Lobby. Good location. That's where it ends. When you check in, they offer you a room that isn't next to the elevators, but there is an up charge. Accepted that, entered the room which isn't Gucci at all. It's anemic. Pulled back the covers on the bed to find the oily residue of who had to be the most obese construction worker you can imagine. The guy obviously lives on a diet of sardines and canola. Got a new room that was 1/2 the size of the new room right next to the elevator - up-charge still in place. On to room three. Toilet runs all night and tub doesn't drain - once again, showering ankle-deep in primordial soup. Tell the front desk to send maintenance up. Come back to the room to find hair and gunk on the bath mat and tub, problem not fixed. Have fun in Philly where the bar is set so low, they can never be disappointed.

Since I put up this Yelp Review, it seems the business owner and management took the right steps in reimbursing us for the amount that we expected to receive. Credit to them for finding out about the issue and correcting it. The next time we plan to visit Philadelphia, we will keep you in mind.
