This is the slowest, least organized pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Several of the staff don’t seem to know what they’re doing and there’s just several people waiting for small, basic things to be done. I only came here because I couldn’t get an appointment for a vaccine at a CVS and waited over 20 minutes to get checked in and another 20 minutes to even get my shot. Then I’m expected to hang out there for 15 minutes after?

This review is specifically for the pharmacist that was working last night on September 11th. After waiting in urgent care in pain for 2.5 hours, I was finally able to pick up some medication. The website for this location said the pharmacy closes at 9pm, which is why I chose this location. I get there at exactly 6:59pm, and they were closing the window doors on me. I was surprised they were closing since the website said 9pm. The pharmacist came over, I explained that I’m coming from urgent care, my prescription was sent here and it’s urgent. He looks me dead in the eye and says no, and sends me to a location that’s a 10 min drive away, then continues to close the doors in my face. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

I wish that I could give no stars at all for this pharmacy. They have had my prescription of one pill for two days and haven't filled the prescription and no one ever told me that they don't even have the ONE PILL until I called three times in the past two days and made several trips to this pharmacy. I needed to start my medication on Thursday, 8/17/23 for a serious health issue and spoke to some guy that told me they didn't even have it in stock. I NEVER used this pharmacy at 17th & JFK Blvd. but it was across the street from my job so I though it would be convenient to pick up since I had to take the medication right away. Horrible customer service. All they do is say sorry, sorry, Really!

We were visiting Philly for a weekend and only went in to buy water. When my husband was paying with his debit card I slowly tried to grab our bag in the interest of time only to get the cashier pulling it towards her until the transaction was completed. This has never happened to me at any other pharmacy or store whatsoever. While I understand that she was being cautious (maybe has had other customers try to get away with stuff they dis not pay for), I did not appreciate this at all. I read it as profiling as she may have heard us speak Spanish and immediately assumed we are delinquents. Definitely not a location I will visit again. There is a Rite Aid store nearby which is where I will be going next time I need to buy water.

I have been meaning to write this review for quite some time now, but my opinion has only grown even more positive since I started going here. The pharmacy at this location is outstanding, and John is the star of the show. He is efficient, kind, diligent, and very knowledgeable. I have occasionally interacted with some of the other staff here and they have also been excellent. They all treat you like an actual person and not just some corporate metric/number like they do at other pharmacies. I highly recommend the pharmacy here because you won’t have a bad experience!

They should change the woman at the checkout, she is poorly educated and of very low standard to serve in a pharmacy. She is very rude to pay attention to the public, the mistreatment of people is incredible, I have never seen anything like this and I don't think any person has seen something like this. A pharmacy chain like Walgreens should not have rude, poorly educated employees and even their clothing was bad. I think someone in customer service without a bra and mistreating the line of customers is not conservative. I don't like to make negative comments but I couldn't let this one go, when I saw that woman's actions I was stunned. Do they not train their employees in how they should serve the public or do they not have a human resources department for personnel selection? Without a doubt, that job is not for that woman. I can't remember her name but she is the young African American woman who was in the checkout line at noon.

Security and staff both greeted upon entry. Store was clean and well labeled as far as isles. Was in and out within 5 minutes. Great place to pick up necessities for out of town folks near the area.

Right in the heart of the city. Tough to find parking and may have limited selection. Wanted a kiwi strawberry Snapple and only found one. Delayed line the day I happened to go - not enough people on register. But ultimately has essentials.

I want someone to give Juan at the photos department million stars for me: Juan is very professional, patient and very polite. I went to this store for passport pictures, l was not ok with how my chest was exposed, Juan was not bothered by my attitude but took another picture of me with the way l want because Juan wants me to be a happy customer.

I would have given a one star if the manager had not come to me to give me a chance to complain to her. I was trying to use my coupon and the information I was given from the store associates were quite confusing. The price tag were not marked correctly for items on the shelf. I had to go back and forth several times and I was frustrated. The girl and guy in the counter, however, found the situation laughable. I did complain to them formally and fortunately, the manager was called upon. The manager was professional and sincere. I could see that she was truly trying to solve my problem and offer good customer service. I appreciate her efforts and i decided to give them a four star only because the manager did do her job correctly.
