Absolutely terrible experience trying to buy a gift for my grandmother's birthday! Initially, contacting the staff was impossible—they simply didn't answer the phone. When I finally visited the store in person, I was shocked to find it was appointment-only with no prior notice. Worse still while in front of the store, I managed to speak with them via phone, the staff treated me with outright disdain, condescendingly repeating prices as if I couldn't possibly afford their jewelry. Their behavior was rude, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable. This was a deeply disappointing visit.

This is a small family owned business. Michael and his wife runs this shop. You're greeted once buzzed in through the doors and a warm welcoming of dogs barking. Don't let that bother you, they're family too. LOL I've gift pieces and been gifted jewelry from here. I even made a purchase for myself last visit. Not a huge display of selections compared to competitors. If there is one thing they specialize though is custom jewelry. Lenient and will work with prices. So if you want something unique or a personalize piece, they are your go too. Show a picture of inspo and Michael will craft wonders to your satisfaction. It was a wonder experience exploring at Vinh Sang Jewelry. Highly recommend, if you are looking for a warming welcome and knowledgeable people Vinh Sang is the place to go. I didn't have the liberty of buying something, but they treated me as if I was a paying customer. Answered all my questions and next time I won't be leaving empty handed.

Nice family owned jewelry shop in south Philly. This shop has a large selection, so you’re bound to find something here that you like. But if nothing catches your eye, the owner specializes in custom pieces and can have something completed pronto! I’ll definitely be returning to this spot again!

I was looking to purchase an engagement ring and I've been to several jewelry stores (both commercial and local) and this was by far the best store I've been to. No other competitors even comes close to the quality and cost offered by Vihn Sang Jewelry. The staff was very professional and worked with me to find the perfect ring instead of rushing me to make a purchase so they can close a sale. I ended up getting a custom diamond ring that was GIA certified for a very reasonable price.
