I arrived at the Chestnut Hill post office on Germantown Avenue on 8/30/24 around 3:15 pm to only find that they were closed. The worker at the desk would not open the door. After a few minutes, she shut off all the lights and shut everything down. I wish they would close at the time shown on their business door and web site (4:30 PM). Such a ghetto establishment.

I was at this location and waited a half hour. 9:00-9:30. No sign...no one there.
This Post Office is poorly run despite the shortage of staff.
The 8225 Germantown Location.

Woman at the desk was very rude. 8/20/24 11:30 am refused to work with me because I brought in my service dog. Very short and snide, would give 0 stars if possible

The hour listed here and on the door say they open at 9a. I'm standing in line behind three people right now, at 9:15a, outside locked doors. No one at the counter. And even though we can hear the employees talking and moving around in the back, they continuously ignore other patrons knocking on the doors. And this is not the first time. This is rude and ridiculous.

I and 3 other friends have had checks stolen from mail that was sent from this post office. Drive to Flourtown or Lafayette Hill.

Inaccurate hours - this location is often closed during posted hours for no stated reason, which causes an overflow at nearby USPS locations that are always swamped to begin with.

I pulled up at 9:30am to drop a package on my way to work. The facility isn’t even open and their hours begin at 9am. I tried both the side door as instructed and the front door. Called just for the bell of it and no answer. Definitely an inconvenience
