Isn't it a beautiful thing, that in this crazy thing called life, we can always count on USPS being consistent? This gem of a location consistently:
1. is understaffed
2. has long longs
3. is staffed with people who will sass you to no end and tell you what you've done wrong at every visit
4. is dirty and antiquated
5. is more expensive than you think
6. does not provide basics like tape
7. has some sort of system failure
Thank you USPS, for existing, but no thank you for the way you are.

This is the worst post office, everyone should be fired. Just trying to figure things out, I get insulted, yelled at, told they can’t help me. Honestly insulting that I pay taxes for this type of treatment. Will be filing a formal complaint.

They open at 8 am and I was waiting for a half hour plus before I left and no one was there to let me in.

I’m not one to write a review unless it’s positive, but this has been my local post office for the better of 4 years now and it’s absolutely awful. Lines are always 30+ minutes long in the middle of the work week / day. The women that work there also couldn’t care less about making people wait. There’s never more than one person working the counter even though there are several others walking around the back, talking on their personal phones, or chatting with their friends that come in to visit. Additionally, in the past 4 years their internet has been “down” at least 20 times, and that’s only when I visit, I can’t imagine how often it’s actually “down”. It’s always very convenient that it’s close to the end of the day as well. I’ll continue to come here as it’s within walking distance but if I had the option, I’d never come here. If you have the option to use UPS, I’d reccomend the one on Fairmount and ~17th.

Horrible location — they have been unable to take cards multiple times that I took day out of my time to walk over there with no notice or even a piece of paper on their window. Employees are extremely rude to all customers and are overworked as there is always a line at least 30 minutes long. Just go to the Arch Street location it’s way better and faster and has self service.

Don’t go here. Literally 80% of the time they just put up signs that say “system down” without even as much as one employee to help explain or assist with anything. Place has cost me business

Nice staff that help me out quick and politely

I write this review as I wait for someone to come to the window to help me. This place is extremely slow and all the workers deserve to lose their job since they don’t care to do it at all in the first place!

Be prepared to wait in line for half an hour (or longer). They have just one poor person at the counter to service 20+ people in line the weekend of tax season! I've come to this location several years in a row and they have the same staffing problem year after year.
