I’ve never had an issue mailing things here and I’ve done so about 4-5 times now at this location. I’ve had to wait in line max 10-15 minutes

I dropped off a package here to scan and ship out. It was never scanned and is still missing. Even though the lines are long, it's probably safest to watch the employee scan the package in front of you if you don't want to lose anything.

Worse location! The line is wrapped around to the front door - there’s one person at the desk- the older lady came out and turned right back around - didn’t think to help. This is horrible!!!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Service is ungodly, and most likely illegal ---for a postmark dated May 23, 2024 ----"No. The BIG MACHINE DOES THAT sonewhere else. IT'S NOT OUR JOB"! WE DON'T HAVE AN INK STAMP". HUH?? Say What????
Please investigate ----"a $2.00 fee"
-------but the other postal worker couldn't even find an ink stamper!!!! Help us all God, in this Philadelphia place. A USPS at THAT!
13th and Market. Zero everything.

Stopped by here 5/15 at 3:30p and they had a sign "Out to lunch" and everything was locked. The entire staff of a large USPS facility take lunch at the same time? at 330p?? There were about 4 people waiting with large packages who now had to find somewhere else to go.

the hat lady is evil. so rude. the other employees are pleasant tho. I went in to ship off a depop package apparently there’s a 2 day courtesy period to ship out ur package which includes the weeknd? (they are closed early sat and closed entirely on sunday) makes no sense. i went in on a monday she said two days past i can’t be helped, i never heard this before She argued with me for like 5 min b4 i got tired of her yappers. i looked up this rule found no information on it. there’s over 10 reviews about the infamous hat lady and nothing has changed.

The infamous hat lady had a sign on the door closed 3:00PM-4:15PM for lunch “hour”. It’s 4:30PM, no sign of her and the post office closes at 5PM… not very helpful especially when her break time is cutting into mine…

Hat lady needs to be dealt with out of respect for customers and for the safety of the work environment because she is a liability to USPS due to her behaviour. If you watch the news this is Philadelphia and the completely wrong neighborhood to provoke people unnecessarily and unprofessionally.

She’s one of the rudest people I’ve ever met and u can tell she gets off on being evil to people. Maybe her beret is too tight?
I have mailed three items in the last two weeks and she has been absolutely horrendous to me all three times

I went to this usps the other day even after seeing the bad reviews thinking how bad can it be? Well now I get why this place has a 1.6 rating.
I think I ended up dealing the infamous hat lady (wasnt wearing a hat but was crazy) since whoever served me was some psychopath. I just needed some mail scanned in and this lady working there kept complaining about my labels not having enough ink even though they were perfectly fine. Mind you, I have been selling on eBay for 20 years and know what I am doing, yet this lady treated me like I was an idiot.
She also kept complaining about not being able to read the date the label was printed? In my 20 years of mailing stuff, this is the first time anyone has cared about such a pointless detail. And she didnt take 2 of my packages. I dont even. This lady has some sort of serious mental disorder and should not be working there.
I been to alot of post offices in my life and can officially say now with confidence that the post office on Market and 12th is the worse one I ever went to in my life. I heard this lady is a union worker and no matter how dumb she acts, she cant get fired, but this is just pathetic. Going through the comments, this lady starts a fight with everyone and anyone. Ive never seen anything like it in my life. My advice, go to any other post office sides this one unless you want to be tortured by some crazy hat lady.

i came here on a week day afternoon, there is no customer at all. they have all the shipping boxes there they even have the bubble envelopes.
