A huge concern for us, and a question we asked, was regarding our infant’s exposure to screen time. We were told it would be “developmentally inappropriate” for our child to have access to screen time, we agreed. However, my son watched cocomelon daily, which I witnessed at several pick ups, and was told by staff he “loved watching”. His socks and the knees on his pants were often filthy coming home, telling all that needed to be told about the cleanliness of the room. My son’s teacher was calling him by the wrong name, which I had more than three conversations with her directly about, though it continued (despite his name being written on all of his belongings as well). There were several instances where the facility was closed with only a days notice, leaving working parents to scramble. Then, they started doing half days once a month… that’s when we left. Very disappointed with our experience and regret sending my son, just glad we pulled him when we did.

TYL 2 is a excellent child Care facility which lives up to its four star Montessori rating. Not only is the facility clean but the staff is very attentive to needs of every single child that enrolls into their program. I have personally worked for the company for about 5 years. It's a very family-friendly environment that warms my soul every time I come to visit. Their food program is top tier collaborating with some of the best nutritionist in Philadelphia. I've seen kids enrolled from when they were three up until the after school program they are 10 years old. The teachers are very consistent, trustworthy, and put a strong emphasis on education and keeping your children busy. They live up to their five-star Google review

Our family is infinitely grateful for the possibility that our children go to an institution like this. The professionalism and love they have when take care and teach the kids, is admirable. From the administration with Ms. Robin and Mr. Renzo to the teachers with Ms. Vanessa and Ms. Tiana, the team is spectacular !!!

TYL has a wonderful staff and a lovely facility. The preK curriculum is top notch and the outdoor play space large and well kept. My husband and I trust the teachers and admin with the well being and safety of our children. We are very happy with TYL II.

I love this DAYCARE!! I cried when I had to remove my daughter due to financial issues but before that they worked with me on the payments as much as possible. I loved my daughters teacher Ms.Vanessa she is nice and very attentive when it comes to the kids. My daughter was potty trained within weeks in her class. I am so happy I was finally able to re enroll my daughter in her class. They are a little pricey but the quality is PERFECT and I'd never settle not when it comes to my child. They offer so much and really show what a STAR 4 school is supposed to look like.

Where do I begin with this diabolical place? First off Parents beware! This place says it's a four keystone star daycare however operates like a 1 star. I'll start from the beginning. My child suffers from acid reflux which about 1 in 4 of all babies have. I told this daycare about her condition and they reassured me she'd be well taken care of at their facility. So before even enrolling my child here I spoke to her doctor and she gave me a note to give them on how to properly feed my baby and keeping her upright after feedings. On her first day I had a long and extensive talk with the infant teacher, and again she reassured me my child was going to be in great hands there and they would do the pace feeding and holding her upright for 30 minutes after feedings. So fast forward a month why was I called at work by the receptionist and told Friday was my child last day and "would I like to speak to the director?" Uhhh yeah shouldn't the director have at the very least called me in the first place and not put it on the poor receptionist to do her dirty work? The director begins to tell me that my child will not be able to keep attending their daycare because they cannot give her the attention she needs and proceeded to tell me again how Friday will be her last day, mind you it's Tuesday. Are you kidding me?? So I ask if she will be at the school at 5pm because I need to have a face to face meeting with her. I was told she will be there until 3 pm. I said fine I'll be there by 3 pm. So I get up to the school to find the director sneaking out at 2:15 pm. Im telling y'all this place is a joke. So to her annoyance we go upstairs to her office to discuss my child, keep in mind she has been going here for over a month and I have never seen this lady Angela Huc before. The meeting was pointless this lady Angela had no regard for my concerns or the inconvenience of finding another daycare on such short notice. In the meeting I expressed how they open at 6:30 am however the infant teacher won't be there until close to 7 am. They forgot my child's daily report most days. I would pick my child up to find her with clothes that was not hers. I was told by the infant teacher that my child pooped too much and was only allowed 3 poopy diapers a day! My child also developed and diaper rash while in their care and when I went to pick her up I found her skin broken and raw, somebody there obviously was wiping her way too hard! Again this is not a four star center. After the meeting I went to the infant room to see one of the teachers not feeding my child upright like I Instructed them to do, but everyone is wondering why her acid reflux is flaring. However at this point I just wanted to try and finish out the week so I didn't make a fuss. Ms. Angela Huc must have didn't like my criticism of her one star daycare because when I went to the front desk to check out my baby for the day, I was told that actually today would be her last day and they had all of her stuff packed and ready for me to pick up. I was actually kind of impressed because they never had her daily report so readily available like this. So I say all of this to say unless your child has zero health concerns they are not welcomed here. Enroll at your own risk.

My daughter has been attending Tyl 2 on 52nd walnut since last year. I am very satisfied with the service. The center is always clean, and the staff are always pleasant! The teachers really are dedicated to keeping the children safe and learning! My daughter lights up when she gets to school, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
