I hated my experience here. For starters, she braided my edges after I instructed her not to. I had to take the braids out as they were too tight on my hairline. I couldn't move my eyebrows or even bend over without hurting. I have also lost a significant amount of hair around my edges/hairline. I asked her to leave enough hair for my barber to braid and she left nothing. Even after taking the braids out, I'm still in pain. In all honesty, she ripped my hair out. She even said that the hair was "too short" and still decided to braid it even though it was clearly NOT MEANT TO BE BRAIDED. I spent a year growing my hair out and now my hairline is patchy and swollen after only 3 DAYS! I SPENT $100 AND IT WAS ALL FOR NOTHING!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT COME HERE!!!

I came in for a walk in for individual braids. They were very professional and fast. I will be returning because they did a really good job on my hair. Thank you ladies

I don't know why the previous reviewer gave them such low marks. Smh I used this place a couple of times-- when I desperately needed my hair braided the lady I normally use was unavailable. I walked in on a Saturday morning at around 9am. I was greeted. I told them what I wanted and was placed in a chair immediately. At one point there were two women doing my hair-- one would start the plait and the other would finish it. I am VERY particular about how the ends of my braids should look lol and I had to give some guidance in that regard. Other than that no major complaints. The lady was VERY fast-- I was done by 2pm -- had more than enough time to decompress prior to the event I had to attend in the evening. The shop is fairly clean. The bathroom wasn't scary. I would recommend this place. Price point was reasonable. The ladies were nice. The only con is parking-- if you park outside of the shop you have to feed the meter. So I parked a couple blocks away to avoid having to feed any meter lol.
