“I have been going there for over 20 years and they have given me always the best service the best professionalism they treat women with so much respect and so honest and they will definitely let you know what the problem is before they work on it and that way you have that option to decide what you want to do but always remember that the make and model of your car also depends on the price on what something may cost you because foreign car parts usually cost more compared to American made model vehicles. and always ask questions when you don’t know something or how much it may cause you but for me, they are the best cause they will definitely let you know if they can do it or if they can’t do it because honesty that’s what they are”
“I've been coming here for inspection and maintenance for years. This is definitely one of the best shops around. It's almost always pretty busy so it's best to call ahead to schedule appointment. There's no dedicated parking lot (like most shops in Philly), but there's plenty of street parking nearby when dropping off the vehicle. They always explain if there's any fixes needed and get your approval before doing any work. They never try to push any unnecessary services or charge any surprise fees. A++”

“I’m not big on reviews but had to take the time out to leave a positive one for Mickey’s! Went in for an oil change this morning and it was a pleasant experience. They were quick and efficient, went above and beyond with doing additional minor work like replacing a rear light bulb and my back wiper blade. They also gave me new wiper fluid without asking which I really appreciated. Dan is a solid guy, straightforward, and Devin did excellent service. Highly recommended!”

“Well worth the trip! After seeing reviews I drove 3 hours from Upstate NY to drop off my Vanagon with Kevin and Brian (the train station within a block of shop makes this ideal). At drop off Kevin didn’t just take the keys and shoo me out. He took the time to discuss everything I wanted done. Brian sent pics, texts, and called daily to update me on how progress was going. At pick up Brian thoroughly went through everything. They know VWs. These guys care, something you don’t always get these days. “I've had a few problems with my car, and to give some insight, I've received multiple (over priced) quotes from various mechanics in the area. Pete came through with a free consult and evaluation of my vehicle and offered me different options to fix what was the most important/affordable at the time. This local neighborhood mechanic is honest and BS free. He'd straight up tell you anything you need to know without any fillers. You can try to go somewhere else, but don't bother. He's been in the business longer than most of your children, and you'll just be coming back cause other mechanics will just give you the run around for your time/money. “At first I thought they were great but after costing me $3000 and me still having problems I took it to the dealership and it turned out Dave's broke my intake manifold and tried using something like jbweld to fix which didn't work i had to pay the dealership close to $5000 to basically redo the majority of the work they did. The first time I had it in Dave's was to replace me coolant temperature sensor and when I called a few days later to see what was going on they said it was running rough (broken manifold) so they replaced the spark plugs and were still having problems running rough they said low fuel pressure and replaced the high pressure fuel pump without giving me a price and without getting my permission same with the plugs the new fuel pump blew out some fuel injectors so they replaced them with cheap injectors so the dealership had to replace them again using GM parts. DO NOT TRUST DAVE'S AUTO REPAIRS THEY WILL DO WORK WITHOUT GETTING PERMISSION which is against the law I will be going after them through the consumer protection agency. They knew I was approved for a loan and practically brought it up to use the whole loan. I had no other problems except the temp sensor when I brought it to them”
