The service representative manager Josh has poor customer service. As a dedicated customer for over 10 years purchasing my first Toyota vehicle in 2006 at this location, I have always been pleased with the work in the service department. The previous manager that i encountered informed me to always let the representative know that I will need a ride to work once I drop off my car and that they would arrange a ride to accommodate this service since the shuttle primarily goes in the opposite direction. As I attempted to explain this agreement to the manager Josh he insisted that I waited until the half hour when the shuttle is scheduled to leave knowing that little to no one goes in my direction. He insisted on sticking to the policy disregarding the importance of my experience as well as remaining consistent with what the other manager informed me. I knew that it was as simple as having a company driver take me to work as they so often do when I drop off my car for service. To add insult to injury, the driver was available and as soon as I left the counter and informed him that I would wait on my survey he just si happen to have a driver available. So disappointing and frustrating to have to experience this from a large company as Toyota. I will be contacting the GM as well.

It is never too late to thank a company when you feel they go above and beyond. I pulled my car into the service department in Center City Toyota a while ago due to hearing liquid swishing every time I stopped. They quickly realized it was rainwater in my door. They resolved it and showed me how to do it in the future. They were also nice enough to assist with a few other things. I will always recommend Center City Toyota, due to the kindness of their service department.

Local and convenient from hospital I work at not only is it a reliable car it’s reasonable. They have drop off before work service and shuttle to pick up and drop off. I’ve been driving Toyota’s since 2001 never been let down. My neighbor bought his whole family one when they saw mines. We LOVE Toyota on my block it’s about 15 of them but I had mine first I got taste and STYLE.

Do not take your car here. If it seems like they care, they don't. They say they take their pride in customer service because the dealership prices are so high, but as soon as you're an inconvenience to their business model they toss you on the street. My Prius stopped running because of an issue with the hybrid system. I payed to have it towed to Toyota since it's difficult to find a hybrid technician. They charged me just to evaluate it, told me the issue, and then didn't want to accept the liability of working on that issue. Finally I get a call the day before thanksgiving , the manager Jaimie rudely called to tell me my car would start incurring fees if it stayed on their lot. They were not helpful at all in assisting me to get my car repaired. DO NOT TRUST TOYOTA. THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE WITH A SMILE ON.

My daughter purchased a used Honda Civic from Center City Toyota, Car looked nice, shiny, sounded good, she was in need of a car quickly for school so, against dads wishes and without looking around at other cars, she purchased it. Within first few months whatever "coating" was put on roof started to peel, exposing the true paint job, clear coat was totally gone!!!! Made several phone calls but nothing was done. I understand when you buy a used car, there are going to be some blemishes, but to deliberately cover it up, then do NOTHING about it when called is not only wrong, it's deceitful. Will NEVER shop at this site again!!!!

We took our car here for a simple oil change service. It was great. No hard sell, no overages, no extras. I was offered a ride back via their courtesy shuttle and they were very nice about everything. There was a couple recalls on the car, they offered to do the service along with the oil change and it was done in a timely manner. Everyone was super nice and helpful.

I've worked with CC Toyota for four years and have spoken to several different service representatives. All have been kind, courteous, respectful and professional. There are several examples I could give of how they went out of their way to help me, with no benefit to themselves. Brian McDade saved me several hundred dollars by telling me straight up what was wrong with my vehicle. Archie Gibbs came in on his day off to help me with a third party warranty claim when I was on a deadline. Good people, good service, good vehicles. 5 Stars.

I take my car here for everything, great service and fair pricing! Brian in the service Dept always goes out of his way to make sure everything is properly explained and taken care of correctly.

Basic communication skills are lacking these days. One would think that if you had a 2:30 appointment at a car dealership to get just a battery replaced that, without exaggeration, you should be out of there by 3:30 or 4 o'clock at the latest. I ended up leaving at 5:50pm. And why would this be? Apparently the team had a issue with their computers that kept crashing, and they were short staffed. Perhaps when that first happened in the am they could've thought "maybe we should call our customers with minor issues and rather than inconvenience them, and ask them if they could reschedule". But no one called me. An apology was finally given but not after wasting 3 1/2 long hours of my day at a time that I just did not feel well at all physically. If I had been kept informed along the way of all the different issues behind the scenes, and the Toyota sales people kept in communication with me throughout the day to let me know the developments, I would have been more sympathetic to the excessive delay. I don't know anyone who would be happy after a 2 1/2 hour wait to then be told they owed $469, when I had replaced that same battery one year earlier for $269 and thought it would be free. A 72% increase in price was also unacceptable. Rip off for sure. But how does Toyota advertise that falsely and expect the consumer to know that? Originally I went to my favorite, dependable, honest local auto repair shop that I love in Center City Philadelphia called Auto Image, rather than venture all the way out to West Philadelphia to replace that battery last February. It being a Toyota battery under warranty which required only a Toyota replacement, I thought I should book my appointment back at my dealership this time around, just to be sure. I was told by Archie that the bad battery only had a one-year warranty and that I had to replace it with this very expensive new one. I was smart enough to take a photo of the battery before they took it out and it said "84 months warranty" on it....so how does an 84 month warranty become a 12 month one??? Is this blatant Toyota false advertising or what? Looking a bit confused, Archie went back to his desk to discuss the situation with other managers. About 15 minutes later he came out and told me that Toyota would replace that battery for free, even though technically the warranty apparently was only for one year. I own a small boutique hotel in center city and deal with almost a thousand guests a month. My job is to make each and every person's experience the best it can be, and to have everyone leave with a smile on their face. 21 years in this hospitality business has taught me that if something is awry in your day, let the guesst know and 9 times out of 10, they will always understand and be sympathetic. But to leave a guest waiting for hours and hours and not communicate when they expect something, is always wrong, All I expected was to be informed along the way. Comminication is key, and it is always free to give and priceless to acquire. The world needs more of it.

Evening, I just have to give this review this evening because its on my mind and its bothering me. I scheduled a service appointment for my 2010 Toyota Tacoma for 9am; got there 9:08am. Confirmed that the service requested was for: tire rotation; State inspection/emissions and Differential oil(s) changed; front/rear. I was told that if there were any issues I would receive a call other than that I should expect a call around 3pm letting me know that my Tacoma would be ready for pickup. Well, I didn't get a call art 3pm and decided to call(3:55pm). I was told by the service rep.(Austin Adair) that he will go and check on my Tacoma's status. Austin returned to the call and stated that my inspection was almost complete, but there was a problem with my front differential drain plug which was stripped. I stated " I don't know how it could be stripped since I have never had the differential(s) serviced/removed or replaced. I purchased my Tacoma from Ardmore Toyota and that was never mentioned." I was told that my vehicle would not be ready until tomorrow(12-29-2021) because they didn't have a drain plug also my rear license plate bulb and front left marker bulb needed to be replaced. I found this so disappointing since I expected my Tacoma's servicing to only take a few hours at even a busy dealerships service department and not a whole 24hrs. It upset me that I didn't receive a call updating me of the circumstances. WOW CENTRAL CITY TOYOTA! I EXPECTED MORE. I don't blame you Austin, but I do blame your mechanics/technicians and management. Lack of supervision.

Total scammers. Was trying to charge me over $1000 for brake change and $500 to shave rotors. Didn't not want to do any of the services and service advisor was very aggressive with me and wouldn't let me leave without getting something done. Ended up paying $200 to shave rotors, which at any other shop would've been less $100. Please avoid this place at all costs, they will rob you. Took an automotive course after to make sure I will never be taken advantage of again.

My gf went here for an oil change and inspection, she called me crying because this place was going to fail her and she had a list of things that 'urgently' needed to be done. Finally, the car was going to fail because of 2 tires (and the rest were suggestions only), so I asked for the tread depth, the 'advisor' said it's not the tread depth, it just that the 'sidewall is rotten' (bs). I advised my gf against getting tires here and to get a second opinion plus inspections are cheaper elsewhere, but she ended up doing it anyway. I then suggested she grab the 2 tires that were taken off the car, but when she arrived they could not locate them and gave her a whole story about being closed now, the tires being thrown in a location with 100 other tires of the same size etc etc This place wreaks of scam and obviously is over-priced.

Service here has been hit-or-miss. Pre-Pandemic, while working in Philly & Montco, with their late hours, it was convenient. However, every other time they keep letting these junior mechanics complete work, unchecked (forgetting: an air filter, filing an extended warranty correctly, not checking voicemails, etc.), so I chose another dealership. It's a shame because their location was so convenient : /

Took my first car here for its first inspection after buying a 2009 Prius. The car was safely on our block for 4 months as I was waiting for the license plate to arrive before I could get it inspected. I chose this place because it's a dealer and I thought they could be trusted. After the car passed inspection the rep tried to sell me on a $250 catalytic converter plate and install. Our friend is a mechanic and said he'd install the plate I already have for free as it's just a few bolts. The rep lectured me on how serious it is to get this plate and how much a thief gets each time they steal a cat converter and that the process only takes 7 minutes, which I understood. I opted to wait for my mechanic friend as our block is safe but 3 days later our catalytic converter was stolen. The complimentary shuttle service to your house while the car is being worked on seemed so generous. They knew the exact location of a car without the protective plate. Coincidence? Maybe
