We chose to stay here for 5 nights while moving cross country into our new home in Philly. We also stayed here to visit the city for our first time several months earlier. Can’t say enough good things about the staff from the valet Edwin congratulating my husband on his new job so warmly on our first visit, the breakfast restaurant staff for being friendly and accommodating, the kind housekeeper Gjyzepina being flexible with our schedules to freshen the room, and the wonderful valet Jamille being friendly and welcoming each day, and along with another great valet Adam, helping Tetris-load my car with the many, many bags we had. We legitimately felt so excited to move to Philly because of the kind people we met here during our first stay and now second, too. The service here is top notch - would highly recommend!

My husband and I recently stayed at The Westin with our two young children, and we had a wonderful experience overall. Having stayed at several hotels in this range, including Sofitel, Hyatt at Penn's Landing, and Radisson Warwick, we can confidently say that The Westin stands out for its impressive qualities.
What We Loved:
Rooms: The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The comfort and quality of the furnishings were top-notch, making it a relaxing retreat for our family.
Bar: The bar area was a highlight for us. It offered a great atmosphere to unwind after a day of sightseeing, and the service was attentive and friendly.
Parking and Bell Staff: The parking and bell staff were exceptional. They were courteous, efficient, and made our arrival and departure smooth and hassle-free.
Areas for Improvement:
Front Desk Reception: Unfortunately, the front desk receptionists were the only downside of our stay. We found them to be somewhat rude and impatient, lacking the down-to-earth demeanor we’ve come to expect at such establishments. This was a bit disheartening given the otherwise high standard of service throughout the hotel. They give this impression they are above you so to speak and I did witness this with other guests.
Despite the less-than-ideal experience with the front desk staff, we genuinely loved our stay at The Westin. The hotel’s cleanliness, beauty, and overall comfort more than made up for this small hiccup. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and high-quality hotel experience.

I travel a few times a week so I see a lot of hotels. Been here a bunch of times and never disappointed. 5-stars across the board but I wish I could give even more to the staff. EVERY person is polite, happy and looking to help. Front desk, restaurant, valet, etc etc. just this morning I was up early before coffee was out. A staff member saw me walking around and asked if I needed help. I asked about coffee and he said how do you like it? He literally went and made me a cup of coffee!!!
That is one example of the stellar staff here.
This place should be used as a model of how hotels should be run. Well done everyone and thank you. Being away from home isn’t always easy but you make it better.

This is a very nice Westin! Have stayed here several times. Sabria at the front desk went above and beyond to give me extra handling, and care, even walking me to my room, when my key did not work! She really made my night when there was a pot of hot water waiting for me after dinner! She made my day!

This Westin has a great location and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. Suburban Station is less than a 5 minute walk away and there are other bus and subway stops very close by. While the area feels very safe, like many cities, it is probably best to still be aware of your surroundings and use good judgment.
The staff was friendly and professional. The front desk check-in and check out process were smooth. The lobby, hallways and general areas are kept very clean.
Our bed was comfortable, the blackout shades were great for sleeping in and we could not hear any other guests.
While carpets and furniture throughout the lobby and guest room areas looked fresh, the bathrooms in the reception area and guest room looked/felt worn. While it was clean, a deeper clean, fresh paint or stain removals would go a long way.
Overall a great stay and I always love the Westin signature scent.
Rooms: King bed room offered a table, love seat and 2 chairs. Plenty of lighting, small fridge, safe deposit box, luggage rack.. all the normal amenities. Rainfall shower head and dual handheld wand shower/tub combo. Must be insulated well. Never heard neighbors or hallway activities while in the room.
Nearby activities: Wannamaker bldg, city hall, live park, clothespin sculpture all very close by. Logan square, franklin institute, moore art, public library, museum of natural history, convention center and reading terminal market all a 10-15 min walk.... very manageable. Barnes foundation, rodin museum and art museum are more of a hike, but you could take Philly Phlash (very cheap) or walk the 30 mins
Walkability: Walking distance to city hall, Comcast bldgs, many restaurants and stores. Suburban station very close by as well as other Septa modes of transportation.

Really good experience. Receptionists were really professional and courteuous. The hotel is attached to a mall and it was very easy to go shopping and coming back to the hotel without going outside in the torching heat outside.
One thing to improve is to have A/C at the ground floor waiting area. It was really hot there while waiting for the valet to bring the car. The whole building has A/C, so I wonder why did they miss just the waiting area for Valet.
Overall a very good experience and will stay again.

I love this hotel. I stayed here in June and then again in August with my daughter and both visits were perfect. The valet parking when you arrive in particular the young man, Phil was amazing. They greet you upon arrival and are so helpful and willing to do anything for you. All the valet staff were awesome. The ladies at the front desk were professional, and oh so very nice. I was able to get a room as requested with a bath-tub on both occasions and early check in which was perfect! The hotel is super clean and the staff are so nice and the hotel is located perfectly to shops, and dining. Highly recommend this hotel and would surely return with no questions asked. 5 * plus!!!

Our group of three booked a two beds room at this hotel, but we were given a room with a king bed. At check-in, the staff didn't inform us of this mistake, so we had to go back downstairs with our luggage to find out why. The staff told us that there were no two beds rooms available (we had already paid in full when we made the reservation, so we don't understand why a room wasn't reserved), and offered us a room with a sofa that could be unfolded into a bed. Since it was already midnight and we were very tired, we reluctantly accepted. However, when we arrived at the room and unfolded the sofa, the space became extremely cramped. To make matters worse, we had to put the bed sheets on the sofa bed ourselves. Additionally, the refrigerator contained takeout boxes that hadn't been cleaned out, and a foul smell came out when we opened it. How could such a thing happen at a large global hotel chain? I don't understand! This is unacceptable!

We chose this hotel since it was centrally located, but we are very disappointed with the service (and really the response to poor service).
When we arrived , we paid for 4 guests , but there were only towels etc for 2 and there were no extra sheets or pillows for the sofa bed (I had to request them when typically this is available somewhere in the room like storage closet). Then for daily service, they would not replace the used cups in the room, and they put new towels on the bench at the entrance rather than shelves in the bathroom). Then, The room was not cleaned or serviced at all one day. And we were out of the room for over 7 hours, without any do not disturb signs. Then I called and requested towels and never received them until I went down to the reception desk and then I asked why our room wasn’t serviced and he had the audacity to say “We were very busy, it was just one night”.
When I brought this poor service as feedback to their attention, their response was 1000 Marriot Bonvoy points, which comes out to a $5 credit. I asked them to reconsider and the manager actually never called me back even though she said she would follow up. I waited to 2 weeks to post this as I was hoping for some response.
Nobody is perfect, but I think these days the excuse of being "busy" for providing poor service is inexcusable. There has been nothing but price increases across the board due to rising costs of labor, supply, etc. I have no issue with this, but to pay top dollar for a 4 star hotel and get 2 star hotel service is really disappointing.

Overall experience went well. The parking is a bit confusing but everyone was pleasant. The interior design was clean and well done. The hotel restaurant, Leo’s breakfast was really good. Syeda provided excellent dining service. I liked the location of the hotel, I will book again.
Walkability: I walked everywhere! Loved the location!

Great location and rooms. The service was 4.5/5. Called a few times to get housekeeping with no luck. Came down and asked someone and still wasn’t able to get housekeeping in. The rest was divine. Perfection. Amazing service, food, atmosphere, and room.

I’m not sure what his job title is because he did everything for us from getting our car to checking us in, but shout out to Steve for making sure our stay went smoothly! Love the location of the hotel as well as its close to everything.
Noteworthy details: Great location
