I’ve been going there for over 40 years. And my brother goes there too. I believe he been going there for the last past 20 you can always find a little bit of this little bit of that.

Crazy high prices. Occasionally you can find a bargain but you see things like empty jars that cost more than you can get brand new, with food in them.

I like this thrift store 2nd mile center because they help the community and not trying to charge for their items i thought until reading the other views about price gouging at a thrift shop. When I retired I had about six to nine bags of clothes I had accumulated working. I may have to rethink what I did before.

I just tried to donate clothes to this facility and was turned away. The guy told me that they were not accepting clothing donations. After just reading the reviews, I'm glad he refused my donations. Because I had alot of new things but if they're charging ppl retail prices I'm not helping anyone at this store. I end3d up taking my donations to the Salvation Army

There’s this rude and nasty guy that works there. It’s enough to bring down the whole energy of the store and steer people away.
update in response to "Owner": If I did not have a good experience in your store, I have the right to express it. I don't owe you anything. "Also note that this reviewer gave bad reviews to every place except one!!!" OH PLEASE. Truth hurts, doesn't it... lol I've seen the same response given to other patrons with valid grievances from other bitter business owners who can't take criticism. Like I said before, I don't owe you a MF’ing thing . Hated being in your establishment and would not recommend. ??

dont expect a good-will experience. this place is not that affordable at all, and for what you can get, sometimes it's not worth the price!

A decent little thrift store in the neighborhood. Tons of merchandise and the cashier, Lisa, is a gem. I love the furniture and dress selection and it's always fun looking through the art and knock knacks. That being said, I'd visit and donate a lot more often if the prices were more reasonable.
Shoes, coats, and "new" items are priced MORE than retail sometimes. Merchandise could move so much more quickly with actual thrift prices. I read another review where the staff responded to a question about the high prices and the replay mentioned "current market value."
Well Ok.
If I'm going to be charged $30+ for shoes, I can go right to eBay or T.J Maxx where they DON'T write on the shoe with permanent marker lol.
Edit: Why is it up to me, a customer, to help your staff keep tabs on prices? That's preposterous and this reply was quite nasty. I'll be staying away.

Call the store at 1:05 pm & asked were they accepting clothes for money & was told “yes”. Went to the store just for them to say no they’re only taking donations. Keep the lady off the phone she’s obviously slow. & The man was so hype to get my “free clothes” why would I give ya’ll almost $400 worth of clothes for free???? I’m so confused

I adore this business and frequent them often. Today, I am going to have to offer some feedback. I purchased a pair of shoes 7 years ago for $88. I donated them, and they are selling for $70. As someone who was struggling when I first bought them, I am disheartened to see them being priced so high. When donating to a thrift store, I hoped I would be helping others. It really didn't sit right with me that the store would price the item so high. Thrifting should be accessible. Please don't do this to people that might not be able to spend so much on shoes.

Had been dropping off items at the door for years when my kids were younger (so that was almost 20 years ago) but the staff seem miserable now
The man snapped at me for not opening the door and putting it in the bin myself. I never had done that back then. I always thought that was his job. Meanie

I used to go there since 2021 but today while I was talking to assistant manager the other staff started to interfere and I told her I know the rule because I am the regular customer n keep coming here almost every week but she said I am a liar and was laughing.she said she don’t know me and it was so rude then I talked to manager she is so nice I know her n she knows me too but keeping staff like her she was the girl tagging the stuff inside she was so rude and disrespectful but staff with hijab, manager and lady on front are so nice. They should kick them out.
