I have found many well made toys here that are very affordable and/or also provide a great source and ideas for cause effect toys that encourage long lasting play and learning for children and toddlers with a wide range of play interests and abilities.

A must-go if you have kids and are in the neighborhood. You can find unique, beautiful gifts, books, clothing and shoes for babies and older kids, maternity clothes, and more. But it's more than just a shop - it's a place to learn, take classes, and build community. Chances are, you will run into a friend or neighbor, and leave with an awesome find and a smile on your face. I have been selling and buying here for years, and I'm a little sad my kids will age out soon. Hoping they start carrying size 10-12!

Love my trips to the Nesting House! Often start here for my kids clothes each season and then buy very little new to fill in the gaps. Also really love the used toy section, we’ve been able to get many great puzzles especially from here. I always wish they could buy more of the clothes/toys I bring, but overall I usually can get a significant amount of credit to apply to my purchases. I do better when I sell at the start of the season or actually pay attention to their current needs list. Always appreciate the helpful staff. If you have kids (or are pregnant) this spot should be a regular visit. (Also, the area is great to make a weekend afternoon of it with the kids we often visit the cafe and playground behind the local school.)

A thrifty mom's paradise. I believe this is hands-down the best kids consignment shop in the city limits and surrounding area, and only after one visit. The variety of second-hand clothing was great, and their staff was so helpful. I found a Merlin's sleep sack in great condition for less than $10. I found a Zippadee Zip sleep sack for $6. For comparison, those both retail brand new for around $40. Such great value! And a very well-lit, colorful store too.

This is a very cute and nice place to go to for babies and toddlers. The customer service is very good the ladies were very helpful. But I don’t think it’s worth trying to sell any kids clothes . But shopping for your little one there is okay

Got the sweetest gently used boutique cotton dress from Seville that was totally up our alley. A lot of clothes aren't always within our preferences but if you look hard enough, you'll find something! They also have lots of lightly used Montessori toys. I'll definitely be donating some things here and coming back for more in the future

Our family really enjoys this store! It is a great place to find cloth diapers and a wide variety of other eco-friendly baby items. We always enjoy looking through their thrift section in the back. We’ve had plenty of good finds such as second-hand glass bottles, good condition hardcover books, and wooden toys. I also purchased a Mushie wrap here that I use quite often. The staff is helpful and kind. All in all, we enjoy patronizing this business even though it is about an hour away from where we live and we have to conquer Lincoln Drive to get there. :)

The best place for all your baby and kid things. Highly recommend! Even if you don’t live on the area, it’s worth coming out here to sell your old stuff and get some gently used things

Hands-down the best children’s consignment and second-hand store in the Philadelphia area. The prices and selection are always great. The owners and employees are always friendly and helpful. They offer classes to new parents too!

This place had some really nice new and gently used baby gear. They carried many of the baby brands that I look for online and enjoyed getting to see them in person. They also had lots of great kids toys!My only gripe was that the sales lady was a bit rude about having our small well behaved leashed dog inside the shop. We like to walk our dog and browse the shops in the area, so that is definitely inconvenient if we can't stop in with our pup to shop around.

This place has been ESSENTIAL for both of my children over the last decade. They’ve seen us through every developmental milestone, saving huge money along way. We’ve bought clothes, bath tubs, strollers, carriers, play tables and then have been able to come back and consign them again! They are picky with their consignment selections, and I’ve only ever purchased high quality items. It was a sad day when my eldest aged out.The owners are wonderful, warm people who care about their community and make their customers feel like family. It is truly a point of pride for Philadelphia.

This place really cares about you as the customer and the baby in your life. A one stop shop for all your baby needs and you know that staff is knowledgeable and committed to ethical products. Their cloth diapering workshop is great (and free) and they try to provide an unbiased look at what's available on the market (trying to look things up yourself online can be overwhelming and confusing). At this workshop you have a chance to get all your questions answered from how to wash them to pros/cons of the different materials...they really are a wealth of knowledge and have an intimate relationship with companies they carry- constantly providing consumer feedback. they have a promotion where you can try out 10 different products for 30 days to get a feel for what you/baby like. (those who attend the workshop can also get 10% off purchases done online and in person). Other services: They also help you find a carrier - bring your own baby or use their weighted baby (heavier than you think). There is a new baby/parent in person support group nearby. I was impressed by the commitment to re-using, second hand and sustainability. I'm so glad this place is a resource in the area...support local.
