Over the last thirty years we haven't missed a show. The raucous, clever material and energetic performances can be beat.

Well, OK, but I did get the strong impression that we were the only party among attendees who were not friends or relatives of the staff.Too long and just not funny enough. Seriously, a skit making fun of the IRS? Is this 1985? Try harder please. You guys can do better, and you CAN do better. Just work harder at it. Earn your place in M & W history.

Great show!Adding that I just saw Spring Show - A Doomsday in the Life. Written by students, with Cast, Crew, Band, and Business aspects all done by Penn students. An original show which was very professional with comedy, singing, dancing, and even tap! Well worth a visit!

I went to their fall show in October. It was very funny and entertaining. On par with a full time professional production in terms of writing, creativity and acting.

A magical and unique piece of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvania history, and a great place to see college students perform original comedy and music! The Mask & Wig Club performs a new original production every year from February to April, with a production completely made up of Penn students in the cast, the live band, the crew and the business staff. The shows are always fun and funny. The building itself is a real sight to behold, with fairy-tale architecture in the bar on the first floor and artwork including caricatures of alumni dating back to the 1890s covering the walls. An evening at Mask & Wig is a unique opportunity to support the creativity of young artists and enjoy a historic landmark downtown. The clubhouse is also available for rentals and is a beautiful spot for events in a charming neighborhood. I should know - I was a cast member in the '90s, and held my wedding reception there.

The fall 2022 show was absolutely fantastic. The comedy was hilarious, and the music marvelous. I especially enjoyed the performance of the drummer; every hit was on beat and blended in perfectly with the rest of the band.If anyone is on the fence about enjoying a Mask and Wig show, let this review push you over the edge. You will have the night of your life!!

Highly recommend stopping by the mask and wig clubhouse to see a show if you're in Philly anytime in the spring! It's a very cool little piece of history, the architecture alone is reason enough to go but then stay for the great drinks, and even better vibes. The shows are some of the funniest live performances I've seen (impressive all the more that it's a college group), the band is tighter than my slacks after a pancake breakfast, and the stage-crew is world class. They say laughter is the best medicine and the mask and wig club has cured my depression 3 times as well as my bilateral SCN lesion, thanks mask and wig ????!

I have laughed more at these shows than at comedies I’ve seen on Broadway. Mask and Wig productions are professional, pure-genius, light-hearted, and hilarious; it’s evident that the actors (and now actresses!) pour their heart and soul into the shows. I don’t even go to Penn and still have attended almost every show that they’ve put on since my freshman year of college. Thank you Mask and Wig for bringing me so much joy and laughter!!!

Really funny musicals! Beautiful and historic venue. Mask and Wig is perfect for a night of a musical comedy. I love how they write the shows themselves! And they have a bar!

Cool group of people! Lots of creative and funny minds. Was absolutely blown away by the 2022 Fall show, “Better Call Y’all,” and I’m looking forward fo catching the Spring 2023 production! Make sure to check out their club house, a real treat of preserved Philadelphia historic beauty tucked away in the bustling downtown.

Perfect place for a night out in Philly! Funny shows - always a brand new one written each year so it’s always topical. Historic location with beautiful artwork. Can really feel the history of the place. And a great bar! Ask for a “Citrus Sampler”

The Spring Mask and Wig Club show at the Club’s clubhouse on Quince St is simply not to be missed. It is super funny, fantastically musical, and inclusively irreverent (at times). The Club and the Show is inclusive in how it includes within witty satire all forms of politics, cultures, religions, and social situations. Penn humor is included but certainly not even close to the majority of the show. Make this an annual Spring tradition.

The band is great!! I have been to a couple shows and they always are a crowd pleaser. The drummer is especially talented. I also went to the fall show and it was great. Very funny and a quality time.

This is a charming clubhouse and the Spring Show reflects a lot of professional work and undergraduate energy by a large cast, live band, and all the support structure! Great to have drinks with them before and after as well, old mugs and caricatures throughout!
