I would definitely recommend Sweat Pea to anyone! Shelby is very nice and easy to work with, and she is definitely patient if you're like my husband & myself and you don't know a thing about flowers! Overall, we were quite happy and we received so many compliments on the flowers and decor.

I ordered the most beautiful arrangements for my mother's Celebration of life. She accommodated the extra request with ease. People commented how beautiful the arrangements were. I would use Sweetie flowers again. Thank you Shelby!

Above and beyond! You can see from the photos that Sweet Pea’s arrangements for our memorial service are of the highest order in taste and craft. But what really impressed me was the care they took to understand our needs and to communicate with the venue to make sure everything would fit perfectly. Highly recommend.

Sweet Pea was wonderful. Shelby did a terrific job making Union Trust a beautiful place for our wedding. The chuppah and all the flowers were amazing, and the centerpieces still look fresh today (two days later). I especially liked the way Shelby used the flowers to decorate the floor around the sweetheart table and several wedding guests mentioned to me how pretty that was. Having tall centerpieces, shorter centerpieces, and the rectangular table garlands with candles was also lovely. In sum, I was absolutely thrilled with the flowers and I really appreciate that Shelby shared so many creative ideas and also stayed within my budget.

The most talented florist I have ever worked with. A true artist that can be completely trusted with any vision. I provided a Pinterest board of photos for an event and the interpretation was spot on. No micromanaging required and worth every penny.

My advice to whoever is considering Sweet Pea is to get yourself a professional florist and save yourself disappointment, loss of money, and most importantly, aggravation. I hired Sweet Pea, i.e. Shelby Fraser, to do my wedding this past May. Aside from overcharging and nickle-and-diming me, this florist neglected to fulfill a large portion of our agreement on my wedding day. Without any notice, she changed the color scheme of my wedding, used cheap filler flowers after charging me for more expensive types of flowers, provided less flowers than I paid for, and most importantly, neglected to put out 2/3 of my wedding favors that I had pre-paid her to fill with flowers. 90 of my favors, which were doubling as place card holders, were returned to me unused and still wrapped the day after my wedding. This means that a whopping 90 of my wedding guests walked away from my wedding with no favor. How absolutely embarrassing. My placecards were left to lay flat on the tables because there were no holders for them. Despite the embarrassment, it also wasted a significant amount of my money because I had spent a lot to buy the favors, import them from China, and also pre-pay this florist to stick a flower in them and display them. To add insult to injury, in addition to all the previously mentioned problems with the flowers, Shelby arrived LATE to deliver the bouquets and boutonnieres before my wedding. And why was she late? Apparently, according to people who saw her setting up, because she was rushing trying to fill my favors with flowers, and ran out of time to complete the task (possibly because she has no staff?) before she was due to deliver the personal flowers. That's right - that meant that my limo and photographers, who I paid by the hour, were delayed. This meant we got less pictures. It also meant that my dad and step-dad had to walk me down the aisle without boutonnieres. Worst of all, she had the nerve to be rude to two of my bridesmaids when she finally delivered the flowers. I had given Shelby a 6 hour window for this delivery - which was all supposed to take place only within several blocks of her "workshop," i.e. her house. Talk about amateur hour. You know when your florist works out of her house - she probably barely works at all, which means she must really have a thriving business... I contacted Shelby directly 3 times asking for a partial refund. She did not respond, even though I warned her that the amount of money she owed me, especially for my 90 unused favors, was big enough that I would go to the Better Business Bureau if we could not come to some form of understanding. After being ignored for almost a month, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Shelby was completely uncooperative, unwilling to compromise, and most importantly, insulting towards me during this process. Needless to say, we never came to a resolution, and now my complaint with the BBB will remain for the next 3 years. The bottom line is - get yourself a professional florist, and spare yourself the ripoff and anger. This business also happens to delete negative reviews online - I've seen them, and then when I go back to look for them, they're no longer there. Yelp is the only place where a negative review from the past has remained. All of my other reviews both on yelp and wedding wire are positive - this is the only time I've spent the time to write a negative one. All of my vendors, right down to my makeup artist, got great reviews from me - Sweet Pea was the sole exception. Trust me when I say, you don't want this woman working your event, least of all your wedding. Not only will she not perform, but she will suck the joy right out of you in the process. Be nice to yourselves.

A few good and bad things about sweet pea. They are very nice and easy to contact when needed. Our table arrangements were very pretty and so were our cocktail arrangements. She even added a couple extra because she had a few extra flowers. But they were late to drop off flowers so we didn't have our bouquets in the beginning of our photos, my bridesmaids bouquets were falling apart a little by the time the ceremony started, she used a flower that I asked her not to use, and I asked for an arrangement for my guest book table ($30) it was 2 roses and some leaves flat on the table. They need to explain to people that is what it is because I would have paid more or not even had got it if I knew it was only a couple flowers and not even in a vase. So up to you. If I had to choose all over again I would choose another florist.

Shelby and Sweet Pea flowers blew us away on our wedding day! Prior to the wedding, I met with Shelby and discussed with her the color scheme that my husband and I wanted, the aesthetic we were attempting, and most importantly, our wedding budget. She was accommodating, made us aware of flower availability during the winter month when we were planning our wedding, and she offered many creative options from her portfolio. She was organized, an absolute pleasure to work with, and she made sure we worked within the confines of our budget. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, colorful and artistically done. She even worked some feathers into the men's boutonnieres that I had dropped off and asked her to incorporate. The flower arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres turned out better than we had imagined, and she delivered all our arrangements to our wedding venue on time and set them up beautifully. We highly recommend Sweet Pea and would absolutely use them again!

I'm so pleased to be able to recommend Shelby and Sweet Pea. While they were a last-minute addition to our wedding when our original florist cancelled, I couldn't be happier with the flowers Shelby designed for us. She made wonderful suggestions, including that I ask for scrap fabric from our bridesmaids' dress vendor, and when they came through, she used the fabric to wrap the girls' bouquets. It was wonderful and so special. She also had exactly the right level of communication. She was attentive without being intrusive, and I always felt that I could reach her quickly if I needed something, or just wanted to check in. This was something that I found was unusual with wedding vendors, and she was absolutely perfect. You will be in capable, professional hands with Sweet Pea.
