I went in there this morning at around 6 looking break a twenty for some change to use the air hose to fill my flat tire. The cashier told me he didn't have ones while he was counting his till.
Did he not think I could see the ones right there on the counter? I had to say something along the lines of "really dude, I'm just trying to fill my flat tire. Help a guy out."
He mumbled something under his breath and gave me the change. I couldn't believe how incredibly rude he was. There is no need for that. Douchebag

This Sunoco is a decent enough gas station. It's nothing fancy... old pumps, not much of a convenience store. But, the gas stations on this corner tend to be on the cheap end of gas stations in the area, and for those with old or performance cars, they have the Sunoco 93 and 91 Octane offerings, with the price of the 93 typically matching other places 92, and the 91 being the cheapest over 90 option around.

Everything in this store is over priced. Even corporate items such as a fountain soda. Every other sunoco charges 1.00 for any size fountian soda this one charges $1.79 for a small and $2.00 for a large

Having this business in the neighborhood makes me feel like I'm not sacrificing suburban conveniences for my urban life. They have the Sunday NYT when no one else does and also have big tanks of propane when the rest of the city is out. And, they're open all hours, they're well lit, making the block feel safer.
