I waited a hour before I got my hair washed and another hour to get my haircut. The whole time the staff was more concerned about the conversations with their regulars than actually cutting hair. I showed them a video of the cut I wanted because I understand there could be a language barrier. He proceeded to not care and not fade my hair properly on the side. I did not have glasses on and could see the error and had to correct him to leave somewhat presentable. He snipped 1/2cm off my bangs and then brushed it back and covered it with gel. $20 for a hair wash and for my hair to be brushed back. I will NEVER come back to this spot

Great place if you’re looking to get a perm for men, show and photo/video and they will replicate it. Was extremely satisfied with the perm and it had a great price to it. The workers are also extremely nice, language barrier may affect your experience but try and be as clear as possible.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

They were so rude to my friends and I. They are racist using derogatory terms to customers. They act like you’re d*** when you ask questions. The list goes on.Service: Haircut

The hair washing was nice. Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. Barber did not listen to me when I asked for layers and chopped 5 inches of hair off in a straight line. He proceeded to thin the hair with scissors to the point where my hair feels half bald. My hair is very thin and isn’t even layered. Never going back.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

Christmas Day 2021. I was there waiting to for haircut with my son. There was a customer getting haircut but his hair is extremely short already (1/4 of an inch). The barber kept talking and trimming “air” for 15 minutes (not actual hair being cut since the hair is already short ). This customer was basically paying $ to have a conversation with the barber while 3 others customers waiting. Waste of time. Will not recommend or ever come here again.

I never thought i’d be that person who leaves a bad rating for a small business, but there’s a first time for everything. I’d say the workers are brilliant with their skills, but they (aka one specific worker) have a major issue on listening to their client. All I asked was for a trim. About a 1 inch cut. nothing less, nothing more. Can you guess what my hair technician was doing? Straightening my already straight hair. That is what i’d call unnecessary heat damage. I don’t say anything because I don’t want to cause a fuss over something minor like that. What really got me was when he was giving me layers for absolutely no reason. I see him doing it, so i ask for him not to. I quite literally said “i don’t need layers.” You would expect him to listen to you, but he didn’t. The man kept on doing it and said he was just “thinning it out.” Which I didn’t even ask for. The barber really attempted to gaslight me. I’ve been to this salon on multiple occasions, and I never have experienced this. He was nice I guess, but since he didn’t listen to what I asked, I’m not going to be nice with my rating. If i’d asked for layers and a straightening i would applaud him for his skill. But what’s the point when you do it for someone who doesn’t want it?? I wouldn’t be making this such a big deal if my hair would be fine with this cut, but it’s not. I never add heat to my hair for a reason. My hair damages extremely easily. Plus the layering will just make my hair harder to take care of. Like i seriously just ask for a 1 inch cut. He didn’t even give that. I got a 1 cm cut. Big difference. Personally i believe that being a part of a business means efficiently listening to what you client wants, so they can leave the salon happily WITH WHAT THEY ASK FOR. Why would anyone want to get their haircut from someone who doesn’t listen to what they request?? Now I have to go on with (sorry for kinda rude commentary) trash hair. thanks.Services: Hairstyling

highly unprofessional. Friend came in for and ombré and color, we had to bring our own dye because they didn’t have the color, should’ve known it was a red flag to get her hair colored here. Lani constantly complains about how thick her hair is and slathers bleach on in poor sections and poor coverage. At some point she even asked me to put clips in for her. There are no foils besides the front two money pieces. Hair is left in saran wrap for 30-45 minutes and it isn’t until my friend complains that the bleach is very hot that I went to check on it. It was scalding hot and burning her neck. Lani takes the saran wrap off and we see that her hair is steaming, but at this point she says that it isn’t light enough, proceeds to put more bleach on the ends and put her under the heat. Another 15 minutes pass and her hair is rinsed out and is now falling out in chunks. Her entire mid section is over processed and gummy. Lani then asked me to blow dry my friend’s hair while she highlights another lady’s head WITH foils and proper sectioning. If anything I believe she got lazy and decided to slap on the bleach like shampoo (bleach does not lather) Lani says that it is supposed to be like this anytime hair goes under chemicals, but as someone who does hair themself, I know this is not right and she knows she messed up but doesn’t want to take the blame and even accuses my friend that she had dyed her hair before, hence the color not lifting. (her hair is thick asian hair and virgin) Lani continuously refuses to be in the wrong despite chunks of hair falling out and them brushing it, making it worse. After my friend refuses anything more Lani proceeds to say her hair is ugly and they should put the color on anyways. We refused and she offered a hair treatment. This is the most unprofessional place I have been to. If you don’t know what you’re doing, be transparent. My friend is very protective of her LONG hair and I am super upset with this.

I’ve been going to Lani a couple years. She listens to you and give her own input on how she can make your hair look better. She also speaks English so that’s a plus too. Lani the best!! She’s also gentle when cutting your hair
