Thoroughly impressed. We adopted from STARS and couldn't be happier. I appreciate that they vetted us to make sure they were giving our new family member a good home. They care

I volunteer with a local University and we get donations when students move out of their dorms. I personally emailed them to see what they need and how we can sort them and donate to this shelter. Then I emailed them about the time range that they're open so I can drop off the donations then after it was confirmed I told him I will be there on Thursday at 1:30 and again they confirmed (they did not give me any instructions or any thing I should be aware of). I drove 30 minutes to there since there's no parking spots around there I parked a block away and carried all the donations to them and there was nobody to open the door for me. I tried calling them and it goes to voicemail there's no way to talk to a person. It really seems like this organization doesn't care about people's time and money.edit: I understand that emergency circumstances can happen but at least it was possible to leave a note behind the glass.

Such amazing staff and volunteers! Everyone was great to work with, and it's clear how much they love and care for the dogs. So happy to have adopted from them.

Used to volunteer here before I started my college classes or after my classes. Great place with people who actually care about their animals. Amazingly trained staff and wonderful big doggos !

How could I not give the rescue that our sweet little chihuahua came from five stars? All kidding aside, our experience with Street Tails was a great one. From seeing "Scampi" on their Instagram, to communicating about her and coming in to meet her, we had a great experience. No pressure was put on us to take her home, they let us spend time with her downstairs and let us get to know her, which made us more confident in our ability to make the right decision for her and for us. Clearly we elected to take the chance and make her a part of our family - and nearly five months later, she has become an integral member of our little pack. Despite her early story being unknown and having had babies before she was taken in by Street Tails (by way of ACCT), she's seemingly a happy and healthy little one who just didn't get to live her best life soon enough. We are happy to give her just that - but we have Street Tails to thank for allowing us to be her paw-rents. I would definitely adopt from them again when we are ready to add to our fur family.

This is a kill shelter!! So if you have a loving pet that you can no longer take care of DO NOT TALK THEM HERE! When you call they will even tell you that they will have a high risk of getting euthanized because of how many pets they have!!

Went there to see if I could see the dogs since the website said you could walk-in. When I arrived, I saw the sign on the door that said you had to make an appointment. I had already drove 20 miles to get there, parked several blocks away and walked in the 95 degree heat, due to the website saying you can walk in. I saw two ladies sitting at the desks so I decided to knock on the door to see if I could schedule an appointment while I was standing there. One of them so rudely jumped up and pointed to the sign, as if I was incompetent, and walked away and sat back down at her desk, as if she was so annoyed that I interrupted her. This was so unbelievably unprofessional and ignorant! I felt so disrespected! They need to hire new staff. I will NEVER come here again and would never recommend anyone else to come here. If they treat people this way, imagine how they could be treating the animals. Disgusting!
