This place needs to be shut down!!! Everyone is getting scammed and it has been going on for over a year based on all the reviews. People pretend to work here and pressure you into letting them "help" you and fix your pump. After I drove away I was charged $175 and it should have been a $35 fill up on 7/22/23. I called multiple times and the manager agreed I was scammed but said it was my fault and there is nothing they can do. I tried disputing with my credit card company but never got my money back. Why isn't Speedway doing anything about this???

The boy ( white t-shirt )was at that gas station 501 w Lehigh, Philadelphia PA, on 18th July 2023 between 12:30pm to 1pm, I tried to get Inside to pay in person he said it closed inside, I can use my credit to pay directly, I told him I want to pay cash, he still insist only credit card. Then I told him put $10 then so at the end was $10.02, immediately I check my bank's app, it wasn't $10.02, it's $230. Bank said the $230 was changed as cash advance, not to pay gas, it shown as speedway. So it seems like they works as team.Contacted my bank will see what's next.Feel unsafe to go back there again.Please if you're the store owner check the security camera you will see. ( White car )

Wish I read those comments earlier, I was charged 125 as well and since there is not receipt, bank refused to issue the refund. I also tried to call the store to resolve the issue, the phone number was dead, not even available to contact the store.

This Safeway doesn't care for its business or their customers. You can tell the lousy management of this place based on when you get out of your car. Instantly feel unsafe and smells bad. To make matters worse, the staff is rude and unhelpful. They didn't seem to care about the customers or the community around them. I would not recommend this gas station to anyone. The lack of care for the community, combined with the dirty and unsafe environment, is entirely unacceptable. I hope Safeway takes these concerns seriously and make improvements to better serve the community.

I put $30 in my gas tank and a bunch of kids insisted on trying to help me pump my gas. I refused their help and would not go away. When I put the pump back the kid took it and put it in the pump. Now I have a $175 thanks to the kid skimming the pump.I will be reporting this location to corporate as it seems like they are not doing anything about this at this location from these previous posts.

Don’t ever let anyone pump your gas!!! they are scamming. I told the kid no because I don’t even carry cash to give them the dollar they are looking for and he insisted on grabbing my handle and said he got me. I knew something wasn’t right and sure enough he put the nozzle back into the thing but didn’t push the handle back up so he could keep the tab running and give people discounted gas on my dime. Scums!

These place its not safe for people pumping gas alone, a buch of kids "trying to help you" pump gas. I spend less than 35 $ on gas my credit card was charge with 175. Now I have to dispute this money with my credit card company.Update ( Nov 1 2022 at 10:30 pm) call speedway on lehight to ask for their manager phone number and he just hang up the phone.

My car was stolen from North Market Street on 3/26 around 8:15. The perpetrator/s drove to Speedway at this location 501 W Lehigh Ave and attempted to get gas around 8:30 and then again around midnight which $40 was accepted by using my capitol one credit card. Please I ask the owner to release any footage voluntarily to the police department 26th district. The car is a 2015 Ford Focus it's a sliverish gold color with Delaware plates. Plate number starts with a 5. It had Amazon packages in the vehicle as well. My wallet is in there of course. Please please please if you have any information on who got gas in this car at your establishment please find it in your heart to contact the police and if they come back please contact the police.
