The store itself is well-run, but I have a few suggestions for management:
1 - My wife was there earlier today. There were very few carts left, and there were some kids loitering out front and holding on to them, offering them up in exchange for a "donation". She politely told them that she doesn't carry cash and maybe on the way out, which to any normal person is an indication that the person being accosted wishes to be left alone. They remembered her on the way out and followed her to her car at which point she gave them a dollar just to make them go away. This is harassment and should never be tolerated. These kids should be removed, by force if necessary. They are of no value or service and have no legitimate reason to be there.
2 - I frequently see some guy out front, parked in the fire lane, with an SUV full of puppies for sale. Why would ShopRite management allow this?
3 - Speaking of the fire lane, it's always jammed up with cars loading their groceries. This causes a traffic jam in the front of the parking lot. I walk my cart (if one is available, which isn't always the case) to my car and return my cart to the corral, as any civilized person who isn't lazy should. The fire lane should be kept clear at all times by ShopRite management.
4 - This is a big one, because I like to buy beer here. There used to be a 5-item limit at the beer checkout, which everybody ignored and held up the line with full shopping carts. Now, there's a 10-item limit, which everybody still ignores. I suggest that you don't allow anything but alcohol to be checked out at the beer counter. Why should I have to in line behind people who can't seem to follow simple instructions and rules? Make them go to the front of the store to check out food items.
5 - I can't exit the store without going through a gauntlet of barricades, presumably there to prevent theft. The narrow cattle chute this creates is clogged with people waiting in line to check out.
Overall, I like this store once I'm inside. But the parking lot outside is an absolute zoo. I'm shopping at the Roxborough ShopRite from now on.

It's ok. Meat selection is good. The aisle are organized badly. It makes for a lot of wasted time shopping. If you're looking for asian groceries, forget it.

Shop for two hours had 2 carts of food bagged up my food and they wouldn't let me tell them one number they couldn't see on my access card. They had me leave all my groceries there. Never shopping here again very inconsiderate and never even asked for my I d to match my card. The manager and assistant manager are very unprofessional. That policy is a bunch of non sense.

Had not shopped here in years, but went in for what should have been a quick trip, took way longer than it should have. No baskets were available. They were out of half the deli meats, only one person working when there was a line. Half the machines were broken so the one worker had to cut on one machine and print the label on another. Just a mess. The worker did apologize and I realize it’s not his fault, but come on. A lot of the produce was out of stock. I couldn’t even find the bags of shredded lettuce. And the prices are high! $10.99 per pound was the sale price for deli meat. Don’t think I’ll be going back.
