Stopped by at 3:35pm Sunday 3/3/2024 and the doors were locked. Supposedly they are open til 4pm. No one picking up the phone either. No note on the door about closing early just to use the side door which was also locked. Guess they don't need business.

My experience here was lukewarm. There were two female clerks behind the desk, one was on the butch side and she clearly had an issue with me. Keep in mind, I don't know this woman. But she was flat with me and thought it was smart to talk about me as I searched for paint options. The other clerk tried to make up for her nonsense by showing some level of customer service. To management, please hire people who are willing to make ALL your customers feel welcomed to your store.

Avery over at Sherwin-Williams in Fishtown is by far the best customer service / store manager I’ve ever worked with, in any store. He is super friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave me tons of great advice for my project and I couldn’t be more thankful. He truly cares about his customers. Sherwin-Williams, give this guy a raise, he is the best in the business.

The lady that works here is rude and condescending. She gets frustrated when you ask simple paint questions and looks like she hates her life.

Man! Bummed to write this but my fiancé and I had a terrible experience here. The same woman working the desk today during two separate trips was so blatantly rude, we were speechless. No greeting from anyone when we came in. Our first trip to pick up paint chips and samples was met with attitude and silent treatment from the above mentioned staffer. During my fiancé’s second trip to buy the actual paint, the same woman responded to him with “I can’t tell you what to get” when he asked simple questions about recommended sheen based on room. This would be the time to put your customer service face on and advise. She didn’t say hello, didn’t say the total to check out, and wouldn’t even hardly look at us. We left with the paint and took our business down the street to buy brushes and all other supplies. Next time we will make sure to buy the paint down the street too.

Really unhelpful staff and poor customer service (if you can even find someone). I came in for a quart of flat white paint and some supplies for a small project and ended up leaving with nothing somehow?

Great paint! Lousy staff at this store. Poor product knowledge, long waits and NOT finishing orders placed in advance! Buy your paint elsewhere and save time and frustration. These people appear like they could not run a lemonade stand!

I have been a customer of Sherwin Williams for many years, in many cities. Yesterday I went to the store on 18 W Girard Ave., Philadelphia, last night to order paint and pick it up the order in the morning. Cholia (I don't believe I have spelled her name right) put in my order and agreed that it would all be ready for pick up first thing in the morning. I offered to pay last night, but she said to pay when I picked it up in the morning. I showed up this morning, not only my order not ready, she completely lost the order and had to start the process over. I had to go through the colors again.I brought the chart and directions to her of what what I needed again, she started to show her "attitude". Then she starts ranting that the manager lost the order. I asked for manager and he showed up with a bad attitude before he even know the problem. I asked him if he could hurry my order since it was already so late. He said "Don't you tell me to hurry!". While he was mixing, Cholia rang in the order and I paid. Given my experience in the last few hours I checked my receipt. The wrong color was done. Vince came out and fixed it and got the right one. Cholia said that I still get 40% off since order was from last night, but when she rang it in, she only gave me 10% off. Now Vince finally rang it right and gave me a refund. I love this paint but if I have to go through such a calamity to buy it with people who seem to hate customers why should I bother? Why do they work in a paint shop if they hate hel ping customers. I just dont understand. They made me feel like buying at that store was such an inconvenience to them. Rude with no apologies. It's disgusting. And after paying for the paint, she told me to meet her in the back to give me 5 gallon paint. When I got there she just put 5 gallon left out on the parking lot. Unbelievable!
