R.Lynch Ramika and her team are awesome!! Professional friendly atmosphere. They offer superb customer service from the beginning to the end of your visit. Very accommodating and eager to make sure that you walk out of the shop a satisfied customer. For example, Just a little over a week ago, I had a sew in done, a day or two later I had some issues with my scalp, immediately I was able to ascertain that the problem was me having an allergic reaction to the braiding hair. I reached out to Ramika and expressed my discomfort and concerns, with out hesitation, she was compassionate and understanding and asked if I was available to come in that afternoon so that she could take care of me. I was and I'm so glad that I went back! Ramika did a fabulous job on my hair! She's very patient in explaining to you how to care for your style, including what products to use. Thank goodness that there are still stylist around like Ramika and her team who really care how you look when you leave their shop. Once again, thank you for the ultimate customer service experience.

Amazing! Amazing! This is my 10th year with Ramika. I go in average and come out fabulous!!! She is professional. Very conscious and considerate of your time and goes out of her way to take care of you. Staff is well supervised. Her prices are more than reasonable. She has a most impressive resume of creating hair fashions some of the biggest fashion shows in NYC. I can sit in her chair and give her free reign with my hair. I'm lucky!!!

At Shear Ingenuity, Ramika guides me to buy the proper hair products and has applied a variety of styling techniques to achieve the looks I have desired over the last several years. Her knowledge and expertise has kept me looking good for every occasion and I wouldn't trust anyone else to be my stylist. In addition, her guidance for home care has allowed my extensions and her applied techniques to preserve my "fresh" styles for weeks. Thank you Ramika! Thank you also to the other stylists and staff that always make me feel at home when I come by the shop!

I love Shear Ingenuity I always have excellent service in a friendly and clean atmosphere. I don't have to wait hours on my stylist and I always leave satisfied. Ashire is my stylist but all of the ladies are very skilled stylist and focus on having satisfied customers.

Outstanding service. I was so pleased with the services provided by Ramika and her team on my first visit. For 5 years I had been satisfied with the stylist I had, but I didn't realize that there was a much better way to install my sew-in weave ...until I took a chance and went to Ramika. Wow, what a professional stylist who stays current with her craft and leads her team of skilled stylists in a positive, calm atmosphere. After my first appointment when she exceeded my expectations, I knew I'd return. The shop's website is also convenient for making appointments and checking out other service offerings.

Ramika and her team of stylists are AMAZING! Ramika and 4 of her stylists and makeup artists came to Career Wardrobe and provided mini-makeovers for 30 unemployed women in an effort to boost their self-esteem and get them ready for a head shot to use in their job search. For 5 hours straight, these 5 women provided hair and makeup services in a friendly and professional manner to 30 women - many of whom were a little hesitant to get a makeover. Ramika and her team were extremely welcoming to the women and donated so much time and product to the cause! These ladies do excellent hair, fabulous makeup, and give back to their community with a smile on their face. A+ service!

I do a lot of my hair maintenance myself at home but from time to time I have to put it in the hands of a professional and Shear Ingenuity is THE PLACE. The owner is amazing and hardworking and even produces wonderful events for her patrons such as wrap parties but it is all about the customer and making you feel good and look beautiful I usually book with Ramika (the owner) but if you want that then you must call in advance because she books up quick. I have also used Another stylist for tree braids. Ramika has given me amazing hair cuts AND sew ins and I have been so happy every time. She is not heavy handed with product, uses only what is necessary for my hair and I leave the salon with light bouncy hair feeling absolutely FABULOUS. If you live in the area you must try this place.

I was in the "market" for a stylist that specialized in Malaysian extension or invisible extensions. A co-worker of mine suggested that I visit Ramika at Shear Ingenuity; well I must say I was extremely pleased. First, the environment was very welcoming and comfortable. Secondly, the clientele in the salon was mature and socialable which makes for a very relaxing experience. Finally, I was not in the salon for 6-8 hours like most salons, I was in and out in 3 hours after getting a shampoo, deep conditioning, blow dry, Malaysian extenstions (that blend in with my hair perfectly and beautifully I might add), and curled at a great price!! I will defintitely be returning to Shear Ingenuity. Thanks Ramika

I recently moved to the Philadelphia area and am in need of finding a sytlist. I get my hair done (roller sets) weekly so it's important that I find someone ASAP lol. I called Shear Ingenuity on a Tuesday and was able to get an afternoon appointment on Saturday. The stylist that answered the phone was very pleasant. She asked me what I wanted done and set the appointment. She even called the evening before to confirm my appointment. I was impressed so far. When I arrived at the shop the door was locked...I had to knock to get it opened. I'm assuming it's a security measure. Anyway...I waited about 10 minutes before my stylist came to greet me. When she sat me in the chair she asked me why I prefer roller sets over getting it curled. I explained that I like the body and I don't like to put a lot of heat on my hair. I should've known it would go down hill from there...I could tell she was uncomfortable and so I asked her if she did a lot of roller sets and she said no. It took FOREVER. And because she didn't roll them tight she had to go through with the flat iron to straighten my roots. Not to mention she charged $65...for a roller set?! ::sigh:: Back to the drawing board...
