Lynzi was amazing. She is so patient and judgement free. Her classes are beginner friendly which is great for someone super new to yoga. Would definitely recommend to my friends for an awesome body AND mind workout. Thanks!

As a first-timer, I felt very welcomed and Lynzi did a great job explaining/demonstrating everything as we went along. I was able to feel relaxed, comfortable, and stress free. I will definitely be back!

Gabi was fabulous! She worked in lots of hip openers per my request and gave excellent instructions and hands on adjustments.

I have attended numerous studios in the city, including Mama's Wellness, Bikram Philadelphia, Maha, Dhyana, Philly Power Yoga, Three Queens, and Wake Up South Philly. Shanti Yoga consistently has among the best and friendliest teachers in Philadelphia. The teachers impart a genuine spiritual component to their classes, as opposed to the more athletic focus found at other studios. Katie Wolfe is among the best teachers I've had.

Katie is the best yoga teacher that I have ever had. I have been intimidated by yoga but she finds a way to make it challenging while also giving you the confidence or modifications to get you through. I also like that every class is different and I'm trying new poses I've never done before.

Popped in during a visit to Philly. This is a serene place for practice and it was everything I hoped it would be. Asanas were accessible and challenging. I felt fabulous. The space was gorgeous. I would certainly practice here if I could! And next time I'm in town, I'm revising.

I've been to a few studios in the city and I can't say I'm that big of a fan of Shanti. I came via ClassPass, and though that process was easy, the actual class was only okay? It was a beginner Vinyasa class, and it's held in a transformed living room, which did actually feel kind of nice. But we didn't really go through any flows in which most vinyasa classes do. I did appreciate that the instructor helped identify some of my body's tendencies to compensate and therefore deviate from the proper pose form, but I feel like that would be in a true beginner class or even a teacher training. I think I just expected what I've done in other vinyasa classes and this didn't meet my expectations, but it wasn't an awful class.

Jessie was great all around! Very welcoming when I mentioned it was my first time to the studio, attentive asking about any injuries, helpful in her few adjustments in class as well as energetic and charismatic. I enjoyed her music too! I liked the small class setting and will definitely be back.

I have tried yoga studios all over the city and this place is my favorite. The teachers are always lovely and the classes are particularly stress free. During many of the classes I have been to soft music is played in the background, which I have found I appreciate since I don't like to hear every oojai breath of people around me. Now that I'm pregnant, I can take their prenatal yoga classes and BOY are they wonderful! Debbie is so sweet and nurturing and creates a beautiful class that let's me slow down and connect with other moms and with my baby, all of which I have desperately needed. I highly recommend this yoga studio for anyone looking for a great class!

This place was great! I went there for the first time last week. Beginner yoga with Alex, who is a great teacher. The class was the perfect level for me, good pace, warm and calming space, and not overcrowded.

This is the type of yoga studio I've been looking for. I have had vast improvements in my practice, body, and mind. Small and quaint with incredible teachers and strong intentions. You must check out Gabrielle's class and meet Larry!

A beautiful and peaceful place to practice. Really friendly and knowledgeable group there and plenty of options to grab something to eat on your way home. Highly recommended studio in Center City.
