We tried Secret Garden as a new place this year to purchase our Christmas Tree after hearing about their support of the Springfield Spartans. Cool place that most may not know Exists because it’s tucked back off of Ridge. Friendly staff and prices are in line with other Christmas tree outlets.

One of my favorite nurseries period, not just in northwest. Family owned, super friendly, and constantly shipping in new plants. Parking can be a little difficult on busy weekend days because it's a small, hidden lot they share with the beer distributor - don't be afraid to street park and walk down the driveway if it's packed. In deep summer they have reduced hours and it can help to call and ask or check their Instagram to see when they'll be open.

beautiful little place tucked in just off ridge! got in and they were having a sale on perennials (buy 2get 1) and i found a bunch of nice selections that were fairly priced. they also had a fair amount of houseplants, inclusing alocasias and ficus, which was a nice surprise. will definitely be coming here again :-)

Secret Garden is a hidden gem! They have a huge stock of just about anything that you'd want for a garden or yard. They also sell houseplants. They stock planters, pots, soils, composts, fertilizers, etc...They have hard to find plants too, one of which I bought today! The staff is knowledgeable and so friendly! Their prices are better than any other garden or box store around.Give yourself time to browse!I really love this place!!

One of those initially unassuming places from the road in Roxborough that take you by surprise once you enter and take it all in. Annuals, perennials, all sorts of flowers and plants being cared for and ready for a new home.

We had a wonderful experience with secret garden. We needed a lot of plants for an event and John was so flexible and kind. He took requests from us on plant type when he was placing his own wholesale orders, was a great communicator, and even handled delivery on the event day. We are very grateful that secret garden exists and is so wonderful. Prices are good- not produce junction level but that’s because the quality is much much higher.

What a wonderful hidden gem in Roxborough! I'm very much a beginner with gardening, and Brianna was able to help me get started. Admittedly, I had checked out a bigger hardware store/garden center earlier that day, and nobody bothered to even say hello. So I left and gave Secret Garden a try. All around top-notch customer service and a wealth of knowledge from everyone. I will definitely be returning.

John has an awesome nursery with a great selection of plants, trees and gardening supplies. I am a supporter of the independent merchants in lieu of the big box stores.
