As a concierge in the square, I drop off & pick up many of my clients dry cleaning at Savoy Cleaners. As the one nice gentleman is unloading massive amounts of drying cleaning from his van to their side door, I always run ahead and open the door for him as naturally do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I collect clothing for men & women who are reentering the workforce. Starting a career midlife is hard enough so I do my absolute best to supply them with 5 days worth of work clothes amongst casual clothing. Presentation is key, I can not nor will not give a person work attire in a bag or exposed to the elements. I stopped in to Savoy Cleaners, not when dropping off or picking up dry cleaning, ask simply asked for a couple plastic bags that go over the clothing. The woman, I believe the owner, wanted to clarify what I was requesting. I explained to her my intentions and gave her a card. No hanger, just the plastic. She said she could not spare even 3 but I could purchase them for .35. 35 cents for the plastic that goes over your dry cleaning. Perhaps there was some miscommunication…no. I can buy the bags if I want to. After years of wonderful service, I have since informed my clients and they told me I can switch to 1500 Dry Cleaner. Nice doing business with you. You can keep your $1.75

SO EXPENSIVE......$50 to dry clean a quilt! Ridiculous. I made the mistake at not looking at the ticket she handed me when dropping off...went back to pick it up $48.50. OUTRAGEOUS...prices are double other places. DO NOT USE THEM!

First time customer. I will not return. Arrived at 6:50 PM to pick up cleaning that I was told would be ready after 5PM having dropped it off on Tuesday morning. The store was closed, lights out and doors locked. I looked around and decided to approach a young lady standing outside an open car door having a conversation just feet from the front door to ask if she happened to be associated with Savoy. She said she was and I said it’s not 7PM yet. Her response was that the “boss” said it was a slow day and to close early, that the sign says 7PM but they’re not always opened till then. I needed the dry cleaning for a trip and she re-opened for me to get it, as well as for another customer who happened to show up just about the same time. Perhaps not her fault if the “boss” said to close but an owner who runs the business like that loses my business going forward.

I don't get any particularly complicated work done, but I've been bringing my clothes here for dry cleaning for a couple years, and they're always on time and they've never ruined or lost anything. I appreciate the consistency.
