I have been a resident of philadelphia of most of my 62 yrs. Just recently I have been coming to your store out of curiosity and basic commodity needs. I have been pleasantly surprised by the employees helpfulness and manners. The selection is sufficient for my needs and it is a pleasure to shop there. Thank you... UPDATE. second time I have come at 10:45 pm and was turned away by security guard laughing at me .....while its clearly listed as still open ....not so happy

2022, it's like a fight for meat in there!**UPDATE 9/18/2020** I WANNA SAY THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE FOR THE THE PUBLIC! PEOPLE NEVER THINK THE WORST WILL HAPPEN BUT I RESPECT ALL OF US WHO GET UP AND GO OUTSIDE AND TAKE A RISK TO HELP MAKE LIFE JUST A LITTLE BIT EASIER FOR SOMEONE ELSE.. THANK YOU???This particular save a lot isn't big, but most of the important things that are necessary are there and always available. Usually the employees are nice and willing to help. Some have been there for years and have formed a great rapport with neighbors. Prices are extremely reasonable and the quality of the food is the same as anywhere else. And with the economy the way it is, it's good to be able to buy things that are needed at a cheaper price, because every penny counts nowadays.

The overall look is refreshing (speaking from personal experience from the late 90's-early 2000's). The price points varied throughout the store. Some items were higher priced there than your higher end supermarket, but it being local is a convenience. Take what you can get.

They had everything I was looking for from my grocery list. Prices are reasonable, however they only had one check out lane open. Which at the very least could of been two lanes open.

One of the best save a lot I've seen in the city the food was stocked and the fruits and produce were FRESH!! And the workers were actually working!! Great job save a lot??????

Foods fresh parking is plenty , it's a super clean environment , the workers are helpful. I shop here cause there selection is good the foods great and at a good price. . I shopped got all i needed and then some. My experience was good no issues no worries got what i needed quickly and was out the store in no time.

I live in S.Phila. both SALs closed,Ive been to this one b4 but it won't happen again.The last time I was there 4-6 weeks ago there was a sign that the rest rooms were closed temporarily,the self same sign was still there.I had checked their circular on the internet and started 2 shop.The prices on the shelves were different than what was on the circular.I asked the guard(from a service )if I could get a circular(there were none in their space).He didn't seem to know what a circular was,he then proceeded 2 tell me I was ignorant.There were numerous items that were advertised or that I no they carry which were not in stock.While checking 4 these items, I found a near whole used cigarette on the floorand it blended in with the overall uncleanliness and disorder of the store.
