I tried transferring some of my money to another institution and a couple of times their website said try again and it didn't go through due to technical issues. I got help and transferred some of my money but the website said I exceeded monthly limit. I got help and they assured me I had not exceeded it and it would be available to transfer and they would call me right back. They never did. Six hours of phone calls and many attempts to transfer the money, the last customer service lady told me that the attempts at transfers that failed counted toward the limit (the failures had nothing to do with me and I was under the limit by 50%) and she said I had to wait a month to transfer. It was not what last guy there assured me. I don't understand how they can hold my money because of their failed transfer attempts they said were technical glitches. HORRIBLE BANK. EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WAS THERE AS IT HAD A FREE SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX FOR DECADES. THEY STOPPED OFFERING ANY SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES AT ALL WHICH IS WHY I WAS TRANSFERRING IN THE FIRST PLACE. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND THEY STILL HAVE MY MONEY FOR ANOTHER MONTH!!!! WORSE THAN NEGLGENT. Stay away from this bank. They all talk out of the sides of their mouths, don't call back and you can't rely on what they say. Given that, there were some very nice people at the branch (the problems were with online people) and I don't mean this to reflect on them. I think Barbara was especially helpful and kind at the branch.

I had the most extraordinary experience st Santander Bank.... Two female employees (unasked) accompanied me to safely deposit my check in another bank two blocks away. They chatted with me along the way so amiably--- that I was kind of sorry when we reached the door of the other bank! I want to thank them so much! Totally unexpected and so appreciated!!!!

Horrible horrible HORRIBLE. I’ve had multiple poor, unacceptable experiences here where I go in and fill out paperwork and they never do what they’re supposed to do. Even after speaking with the branch manager! Weeks went by, and nothing. A complete waste of time visiting this branch, and even bigger waste trusting your money here.

Santander corporate is a joke. When my mother passed away they repossessed her car but they are not helpful in helping us retrieve the vehicle nor my personal belongings. She did not have a will and while we were trying to inherit her estate they will not give us any updates on the car.

Had a bank account for years with them 2017 got diagnosed with a major brain disease where I forget stuff N they closed my account for this reason n they have terrible customer service branch manager at bank on 10th and oregon treated me terrible n discriminated me talkin bout my brain disease saying ur fine nothing is wrong with u I recommend everyone in the country to never use this bank terrible customer service shut down ur account during a pandemic n discrimated a disabled person

While I have on-line accounts with numerous banks, I still like to have access to a brick-n-mortar location as well. Santander purchased my bank a while back, but luckily has given me no reason to change. This location in particular is awesome. There is hardy a wait yet you'll get focused attention when you have a question. Service with a smile is not just a slogan. The tellers are friendly and patient. Everything I'd dread about in-person banking elsewhere, I actual enjoy (well at least tolerate) here. Solid bank and great location!
