Was calling around because My 4 year old ($1500) LG fridge/freezer stopped cooling. Was told by someone else I need to buy a new unit or pay $1000 for parts and labor. Spoke with someone at RTA who advised me of a specific recall LG has for their Refrigerators. Long story short, the rep at RTA got LG to cover full parts and labor for the unit. I paid $0 out of pocket..$0.. let that sink in.. I couldn’t even find my receipt of purchase. They just needed the serial number off the unit. I can’t make this up. I almost bought a new fridge.(I’m posting this because of all the negative reviews, and I feel like they went way above and beyond)

I needed repairs on my LG refrigerator. I made the initial contact simply because they wouldn't . Totally unprofessional... the office staff and the manager. Had an attitude because I reminded them that it was their responsibility to make the initial contact. I finally just gave up and contacted the manufacturer. I would NEVER refer anyone to use this.service They suck!

These people should not be allowed to operate! A technician came out to do a cosmetic repair job on my one year old GE dishwasher. He was here less than 10 minutes and said he couldn't do the job alone. Now, my dishwasher won't turn on! He literally made my appliance WORSE than before he arrived! I had a perfectly good dishwasher with a trim hanging off. I called and asked Peter the manager to please send someone out immediately because of what his tech did, and I was told I can't have that today! Peter became rude and disrespectful as well with me on the phone. I didn't ask the other guy to disconnect my machine, but he did, so make it right, but Peter wouldn't. Then told my warranty company that the dishwasher is unrepairable! I should thank them because I now get $1000 in pocket and I called a repair company that actually knows what they're doing! But please, I can't stress this enough, please DO NOT USE THIS GROUP!

I was hesitant to try them after seeing some of the reviews on here but after not hearing back from several other repair companies, I decided to give RTA a try and was not disappointed. They picked up right away, checked to see if they had the part I needed, then scheduled me for a 2-hour time window the following morning. They also called later in the evening to confirm and once more the morning of when someone was on their way. Peter was on time, polite, and got right to work. I appreciated that he wore a mask in my house without me having to ask. He replaced the door lock on my LG washer/dryer combo unit in no more than 20 minutes and was on his way! I hope this review is helpful to anyone who might be on the fence about hiring RTA.

Less than a zero would be better for these losers! A tech came out to fix a cosmetic trim piece on the door to my 1 year old dishwasher. He was here less than 10 minutes and said he could not take the whole door off by himself. He would need another set of hands. My dishwasher worked perfectly fine before this man came to my house to "repair" it! How does a service technician come to your house and make your appliance WORSE than when he entered the house?????? When I called to speak to the manager about sending someone back out to connect whatever he disconnected, I was told no because the tech's car broke down! How is that my problem? The manager named "Peter" was rude and disrespectful. This dishwasher is covered under a Home Depot warranty who contracted the job out to this group. On the plus side, they told my warranty company that it wasn't repairable and now I get fully refunded for appliance, warranty, AND a competent group to come out and reconnect whatever they disconnect. So thank you RTA for giving me back $1000!

This is one of those, zero-star reviews. I can feel my blood starting to boil just thinking about the lies and incompetence I had to deal with while working with this company. I literally would not trust them to change a light bulb. On 6/3/21 this company was contacted by lowes to fix the convection fan on my oven that was still under warranty. It was days after I contacted lowes about the repair and I had still not heard from RTA, I contacted them. The receptionist had reassured me that the problem with our oven fan was a known issue and the part was ordered, but because it was such a common issue it was back-ordered part and they would be contacting me in the future about coming to repair it once they got it in. I then proactively told them that if they had planned on doing the repair in July that I was going to be out of town however with a week's notice I would be able to arrange for a friend to be there and open my home for the repair. During COVID there were endless news stories about cargo ships waiting off of the coast unable to be unloaded so I didn't pay much attention when I wasn't contacted over the summer (besides the fact that the oven in question is a double oven so the smaller top half still worked for cooking). Fast forward to a few weeks before Thanksgiving, friends coming over and a large bird is going to need to be cooked. I thought this is getting ridiculous. I called RTA again (notice that every contact made was me reaching out to them). The same receptionist picked up claimed that they had called and left several messages (clearly a lie, why would I not want my oven fixed?). They also had my email address and did not contact Lowes to claim that they could not get ahold of me. After MANY phone calls to Lowes and hours of my life spent on hold while Lowes tried to figure out RTA's lack of communication skills, Lowes determined that I didn't do enough to resolve the problem even though RTA had never once contacted me. Now Lowes is claiming that the warranty period on my oven is now expired and I would be on the hook for any repair. Well, after a quick internet search, 3 parts costing me just under $90.00 shipped to my door in 3 days followed by an hour's worth of labor using tools I already had, and my oven is now fixed. No thanks to RTA. Avoid this "company" like the plague.

They asked for $509.00 in advance of coming out and looking at our $3500 LG fridge. They said they knew what was wrong with it before even looking at it. Are you kidding me? The person on the phone was rude, short, and didn't want to listen to reason. This place is a joke and a ripoff.

Had a washing machine that wouldn't stop for and RTA fixed it extremely quickly. I appreciated that they ordered the part in advance so they only had to come out once. Seems like other people have had bad experiences but fwiw everyone I talked to and worked with were friendly and professional.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But twice we have had RTA Service at our residence for refrigerator repair Mind you these two service calls were years apart Both times when service was due the gentleman (same repairman) arrived in a timely manner with a decent professional attitude and when complete the repair workmanship was very satisfying and repair cost, reasonable Bottom line he knew his craft Perhaps we just had the perfect technician But as far as IAM concerned I have no gripes nor complaints In the future, indeed I would call them again for service We have an LG Refrigerator and it is working as it should. After 2 months and 2 visits and a part LG sent them still on their shelves they closed out my ticket never fixing the issue... Had to start from scratch with a new repair company who came out today and now we wait for the part... So frustrating.. If the choice was Seppuku or going through this again; seppuku all day.

The worst company to deal with. Lowe's set me up with the company to fix my Samsung washer and they were suppose to come out but decided they wanted to order a part befor coming out to look at washer. Took weeks and weeks for them to get the part. They finally get the part and we set up another appointment and the night before coming out they call to cancel. Then they set up another appointment a week later. When they finally come it's the wrong part. So the repair guy is on you tube trying to figure it out. He says he needs to order a control panel. So after 9 weeks no washer I had enough and had to fix it my self. After 10 min figured out it was a sensor. The repair guys need to watch more you tube to learn. The people in the office were also rude to deal with.

They don't EVEN get 1 star from me!!!!!! Susan, Linda and P Dalton are the WORST. They canceled our service appointment for our washer which is under warranty asked to email P Dalton pictures which we did on September 30th, then Susan called to say Pete, (guess that's P. Dalton their service manager) canceled our appointment for Oct 1st, as they need to order parts. It's now December 10th and they don't return my calls. Seems Pete and Susan are never there. I have reported them to the BBB. They SUCK!!! Don't use them!!!
