Over the years, this urgent care has gone hill. The staff is extremely rude. I used to take my children here often but I will never step foot in there again.

Seem cleaned. But ABSOLUTELY ridiculous that they send you down to the hospital for an xray then tell you to come back to read the xray. Front person not informative at all. But they got their money. Medical field is joke!

I’m so sorry if my English not too good I’m from Thailand,but I would like to share my experience with urgent care in Roxborough ?Good Morning,I went to urgent care office yesterday…I’m so impressed with all the services,Dr.Joel Wagman ?? he”s the BEST doctor..walk in with a nice smile,gentle..talk to my daughter and take away her worries (after that He’s figured out what make my daughter get so sick with a high fever,he”s solved all those problems that we have to due with it for a week with another doctor with a different place..before I met him…not only an education ,experience that he have but he’s have a good heart..he love what he do and so helpful he make everyone feel like home,(Thank you so much Dr.Joel)…And all those Nurses and service very nice &sweet..so helpful also)THANKS YOU SO MUCH for making my daughter feel so much better from yesterday ?”im so impressed with this place”May God Bless You All”

Only complain is the waiting time. Even if its empty, you will have to wait a decent amount of time. Last week I spent around 2 hrs with only 3 people ahead of me. They make you fill out the same papers with all your information every time you visit, as if you are a new patient each time. Is quite annoying.

Front desk woman unable to give turn time after I advised senior with dementia was alone and waiting on me to return. Unfortunately, I’m sick and needed to know time frame. She then laughed and got mad when I asked her if she thought my situation was that hilarious and then she lied and said she wasn’t laughing at me. This was my 2nd time here and did not have this issue on my first visit. Will never go back.

This is my third time here and the last two times Dr. Joel Wagman was assigned to assist me! He always has a diagnosis even before examining me. Beside manner can use improvement, told me I don’t look like I have an upper respiratory because I didn’t have a grimacing face. On 5/2 went after having fever and shooting head pain. Told me it was jaw pain, I’m 10 days post op from Hernia surgery.

Horrible billing department. Experience itself with the doctor was fine, but they sent a follow-up bill which you apparently have to write a check for (they don't offer online billing, at least in the document they sent me). I paid it - they cashed the check - (I have the money deduction and check receipt image on my online banking). I followed up called twice to let them know they cashed my check - and told them exact date and check and they said they would clear it up. Well, clearly they are not clearing it up since I'm still getting bills. Terrible. Don't even know how to resolve.

Only giving two stars because the doctor was someone my family knows and was very professional and personable. The nurse, on the other hand, totally unprofessional and standoffish. Showed up around 3:30 in the afternoon thinking the place was open until 9 only to find out that they decided to close at 5 and wouldn’t be able to get a radiologist in to shoot an X-Ray. Was hoping Roxborough would have gotten their problems worked out but obviously that’s not the case.

Good evening, Last Wednesday evening, my wife had a medical episode and I took her to the Andorra urgent care. We live off of Shurs lane and our urgent care closes at 8pm. We arrived at about 8:45pm and the doors were locked. The person at the desk shook their head "no" at us when I knocked on the door. I was confused because we looked up the hours before we left and I also saw the posted hours indicated that the practice closes at 9pm. I called so I could speak to someone about why we were being denied entrance. The person at the desk said that they see their last patient at 8:35-8:40pm and that we shouldn't wait until close to closing to come down. I found this really upsetting as we didn't plan the timing of my wife's medical issue. Also, we were following the posted hours. We didn't intentionally wait until the last minute, like what was implied. I am sharing this information so you could please adjust your posted hours so it includes when you admit your last patients for the day. Also, your staff could benefit from trauma-informed training. We wound up spending five hours at Roxborough ER which is closer to our apartment than the Andorra urgent care.

I’ve had 3 good experiences at this urgent care over the past 2 years. The docs ordered appropriate tests and were conscientious about following up on results. Dr. Applebaum made 3 calls to get delayed results.

I have been there twice now and the staff and Dr. Applebaum are so great. Front the front desk, the nurse to Dr. Applebaum . He even called this weekend to check if I was feeling better. He really cares about his patients. Thank you!

Closes at 9:00pm We showed up at 8:30pm to locked doors We could see a receptionist inside and a patient inside When we called to be let in the receptionist was very rude asking if we planned on waiting until 9:00 to show up Ultimately we left

This place never failed.. today was my 2nd time here..1st time was with my mom last 2018 to take her stitches off, not a long wait, staff are gentle, caring & accommodating. Today I came for myself having sore throat & infection; the wait was not long, place was neat, not crowded & i had my child wd me, she was comfortable in waiting room theres table for lil kids. I also noticed a chair for bariatric pts. At exam room while I am being checked, nurse was very pleasant & smiling most of the time & took time to greet the lil one..Doctor was very caring..came 2x to make sure that i'm ok while waiting for my lab results & he took time & made 2 balloons for my little girl. He was considerate enough to let me go fast after knowing that we were trying to catch up another appt. for my child. Godbless this place & staff for all you do!

ZERO STARS!! Horrible! The women working at the front desk on April 11th, 2023 at 8:30 is the worst human being on the planet! The hours on the door said it was open until 9:00, yet she wouldn’t open the door and even acknowledge us. SHE COULD HAVE AT LEAST TOLD US WHY IT WAS CLOSED 30 MINS EARLY, GAVE A SMILE OR SOMETHING-SHE LOOKED AT US AND THEN TURNED AWAY AND CONTINUED NOT DOING HER JOB! Once again, the older woman that was working there on April 11 at 8:30 is THE WORST. Roxborough urgent care should be more careful when hiring an inhuman.

How do I even go lower??? It’s 8:32pm. They close at 9pm. I worked at an urgent care. Hurt my right ankle. Woman would not let me in AT 8:32pm. You best believe I flipped the camera off bc what??? I was literally skipping to the locked double doors \\u0026 she just kept shaking her head no as if she didn’t have the control to let someone in, IN ACTUAL OPEN HOURS. Just left, can’t reach any care. Or even a wrap for that matter. This sucks. My urgent care would have neverrrrrr
