I shop here whenever I’m hungry. The prices are good and the quality even better. The space is easy to navigate. The deli and prepped foods are amazing. Always stocked to the brim with fresh foods.

While checking out & talking with the Cashier mentioning that many items in produce weren’t priced this day , Good Friday, nor did the Produce Man know these prices. The Cashier offered to help me, but I was tired & just wanted to get home, still recovering from a terrible accident.Suddenly we were interrupted by this loudmouthed unkempt disreputable looking young man leaning on the carts at store front, who instead of offering help let loose a crazy verbal tirade against “ rich old ladies” and how I’d be dead in 4 years, so it didn’t matter anyway!!! ? ? ?Have shopped here for decades since it was Great Scot Mkt because of the personable helpful staff & nice produce.That all came to a shocking halt this morning when confronted with this insane viscious hate filled tirade especially shocking when he announced he was the MANGER!! As I’ve known the Managers here, either he was llying or this store is in serious trouble.Saddened for the other GOOD HARDWORKING THOUGHTFUL Employeesmost of whom I’ve known & liked for ages.Rittenhouse Market is harboring a serious problem. Will be shopping elsewhere….

Whenever I shop at Rittenhouse Market, I'm blown away by their fruits and veggies. They're always super fresh and the quality is amazing, way better than what you usually find. Sure, you might pay a bit more, but honestly, it's worth it when you taste the difference in your meals.

What is with this place? I went yesterday and one of the two boxes of fresh shrimp I bought turned out to be spoiled. The raspberries I bought were covered in mold this morning. Please do better

This place is so far over priced it's out of this world some products are close to double the amount of even smaller mom and pop places. The staff is extremely stuck up and will act all nice but they kinda make it obvious it's an act and if your there when you the store is not crowded their voices really carry and you can hear them talk about you.

This is a great neighborhood market. It's not as big as Acme or Giant (natch) because it's mainly for people who live in Center City and don't have cars. The staff are very helpful. It might not have the selection of the bigger stores but it has what I need.

Traveling for business, and this market is a great neighborhood find in this area. Most markets in the area are way overpriced, and the Rittenhouse market is almost like the larger grocery stores with better prices. The cashiers are friendly too! I didn’t bring a bag on my first visit, they gave me a reusable bag. I bring it each time, and come back regularly for quick items to stock in my hotel fridge. I also get quick snacks for journaling and enjoying the outdoors in Rittenhouse Square.
