The customer service is horrible. When you call due to an issue, the phone just keeps ringing and then you get disconnected. I have had the shop from home orders that I have had issues with and still have not received any response to my issues.

This place is a disgrace laying off workers with no warning their management is horrible and incompetent and the union sucks. Store is dirty and smells like shit managers are filthy and unkept and don't wash their hands

Whoever owns these Redbox kiosk could you please come and clean them more Often. Also the screens are really hard to use it’s a Press on them a lot. You would think that they would be in better condition since the machine is inside of the store compared to being outside. Maybe it is just the people that shop at ShopRite they just do not take care of the machine. I do not know

Do not use the Shop from home service. It's very bad. I've placed over 20 from home orders and only 3 hav been on time. They never call when the order is going to be late so you don't find out until you have driven all the way to the store and you're grocery's aren't ready. The online inventory is ask always wrong. Half of the items are never in stock. They tried to blame covid but what does covid have to do with your system saying food is available when it's not??!!!! Make it make sense. SMH. Don't offer this service if you can't keep up.

This is my local shoprite so I am there some months twice a week and others once a month depending on if I have time to take a drive elsewhere. They are ALWAYS fully stocked and very rarely do I have trouble finding an item. Lines are always long but I'm very patient so it doesn't bother me. Well, I was there yesterday around 330pm and I had the pleasure of being in lane 13 with Michelle. So I have a cart full, about $250 worth of groceries and I placed what all I can on the conveyor belt. Michelle did not ring up a single item at this point. I needed more space so I stood there holding groceries in my hand waiting for her to ring up something as to make more space. But she looked at me (holding items) them looked at her phone. Then looked at her nails. Before ringing up JUST ENOUGH for me to place a few more items on the belt. Now I shop and place items strategically on the belt so that I can bag it accordingly and I would rather bag my own groceries so they are bagged with care. But I'm the same sense, shoprite does not pay me to bag groceries. They pay Michelle. So after she scanned just enough items for me to finish placing items on the belt she made it clear that she was not bagging any items. I started to say "I'm not bagging" but again I prefer to bag so I know my groceries are carefully handled. I love shoprite but I also like Being treated like a paying customer and being appreciated for my business. I have options in where I shop and I made the choice to give shoprite my business. If Michelle's previous little nails can't bag groceries than she should consider another place of employment.

This is what I think about ShopRite on Levick and Oxford their staff is terrible their managers are even worse I guess this is what happens when you hire all welfare employees. Manager number one Bob manager number 2 Josh. This is all due to the lady that works the self check-out line the older African-American lady have you set seeing nothing but rude obnoxious ignorant is the word make ShopRite find a new employee and you managers cuz it went to hell it's a shitshow and a cesspool after 10 years of shopping there how do you disrespect a death man. How do you disrespect a deaf man she was cursing up a storm to someone who can't even defend themselves but that's what an ignorant person does. They need to get rid of her!!!! F*** the employees at self-checkout and the managers Bob F*** ShopRite.. Please get new staff please.... and f*** that little dike b**** security!

These are just two of the few items that I have purchased on Sunday 7/19/2020 that went bad in a matter of a few days. This isn't the first time that I've had this issue. On 6/18/2020 I purchased two packs of chicken breast the store brand. I went home put the groceries away and later on that night I started to prepare the chicken for a cook out and it all smelled horrible. I took it back to the store, they gave me such a hard time because of their no refund or exchange policy which is complete bs especially when something is wrong with the product and its not of any fault of my own. I spent 25 minutes in the store waiting for them to decide what they were going to do.

Today I had a horrible incident with a lady who wanted to cut the line.... I told her it was wrong of her to that because my stuff was already there and the floor it shows the distance we must keep from each other so I told her how did she get in front of me when I was behind the gentleman in front of me.. she kept going back in forth saying she won't move period. So I decided to just let her go in front of me so she she could shut up the cashier there saw everything as well and got a bit upset with the lady for treating me in such manner before I now it the manager was next to me and said come with me ma'am we will take care of you long story short the staff treated me super great the lady cashier who was helping me even helped me push the cart to the car it was amazing service.. I just want to thank them for their kind services

This place is downright dirty. They left the stem of the apple in my Dutch apple pie. This place NEED to be SHUT DOWN because that is trifling. I could've choked off of that and called the appropriate authorities but that's not my personality. But to wrap this up, you shouldn't go to this ShopRite.

The worst in Philadelphia. What I hate most is the wilted greens and vegetables , the rotten lemons, the flies in the pastries, the store is not clean and some customers are rude, and some cashiers need mental health. There is a couple of them that are good. Now, with Corona virus everyone is on the edge. I understand the rules, the lines , the 6 feets and all that but the no return policy is unfair. The avocados that I bought were like rocks and did not ripe. They were on sale and I bought three , and now I realize why the sale, they were not good. Probably they paid 10 cents each. I forgot about no return policy and I express my dissatisfaction because is my right. I said that this was not fair, they did not have to return the avocados back to produce because they were not good , they had to put them in the trash and gave me the three dollars. They are covering themselves over the state regulations and that is a lie. A couple of stores are setting up that policy because they are thinking in their own gains. Pure excuses. Walmart does not have this policy, and even all the stores that are closed , if you shop on line they are giving you 30 days after the store open to return . But this store is open, making money raising prices, selling products good for the trash and refusing to give give your money back specially in this time when people are suffering. I placed the bag in the counter and told the cashier to put the avocados in the trash but because they made a sound as I drop them because they were hard as a rock she accused me of throwing the avocados to her. And when I took the 2 dollars change she was handling to me from my lottery ticket she said that I pulled the dollars from her hand. Is my believe that she needs mental health. Yes, I took my 2 dollars but she was extending them to me and she said I pulled the money from her hands. In fact I wanted to get out of that store as fast as I can. This is the last time I shop here. I can go to wholefood or Traders Joe, they know how to treat you and all is quality. Please do not go to that store. Some Prices are lower than others stores but if you like fresh produce go to Giant, Wholefood or Traders Joe. Produce here is poor trash.

Parking is terrible customers are rude after sitting in lines for long periods of time. half the time so are the cashiers now I have met some pretty nice cashiers too. Selection is there ofcourse. My only true reason for visiting is the thin mint coffee creamer and Turkey Hill peach tea cold cuts and produce are pretty good too. Best time to go is late in the evening. Oh great Oriental lilies as well.

this is my neighborhood location and i loathe having to come here. they're very unprofessional and poorly stocked. One of their workers a Camellia is very rude and unprofessional. i bought light bulbs 40v and 60v. the 60v had a $1.99 1/2 price tag under it but the 40v had NO SIGN AT ALL under it. So when i get to self check out i noticed the 40v rung up $12.99 and the 60v $9.99. i brought this to her attention and she had another front end worker check the price. While we wait she says to me those 60v bulbs are not $1.99 and you read the wrong sign watch and walked away to help someone at check out. When the lady returned low and behold i was right and she had the tag in hand. Camellia said oh and never apologized for saying i was wrong. I asked for manager and some stock guy comes over and said the tag machine been down for a week and they refused to honor the sale on the 60v $1.99 for the 40v and he flat out said no. no customer service at all.

We stopped shopping here several years ago for assorted reasons. After today's visit, I remember why. I was attacked by a mother and daughter team. They insisted I hit the mother with my cart. I did no such thing. The daughter even threatened to take a can from the shelf and hit me with it, she got within inches of my face. This loud screaming match lasted several minutes, and yet no staff came to investigate. This left me rattled and almost in tears. Never again will I shop here. Complete ghetto experience.
