I decided to try R & A Auto Repairs as I would rather support small business owners than corporate. Kevin is the owner operating a service I felt he performed with professionalism and gave me the exact service I asked for. I'm thrilled. I feel South Philly has a gem in this business and I will pass on my positive feedback to my friends in Philly.

Got my car towed here after my steering jammed. They were very friendly when I came in, even when it was past closing time. Rob is great and conversational, and his crew are nice, helpful people. Got a new pump installed at a reasonable time and price.Update: it ran fine all of 3 days, then my serpentine belt frayed and broke. I don't know if it was looked at while at the garage but I was upset and had to get it towed again. Make sure you get everything looked at

This place is great the staff really care about you and your car especially in my situation my son and I wear driving and realized my tires where no good and my life kept coming loose these gentlemen helped me and fixed it like if I was his own child driving the car he would make sure it was nice and safe before anything when I asked how much he didn’t even want to take a payment but of course I could not leave without I felt like he did his best and this is a loyal mechanic who really is not a rip off and cares and finds the way to fixing your car!! Thank you so much sir I appreciate your service my car has been great since thanks again hopefully I’ll see you soon but for an oil change and brakes!!
