I was told I had to come back to get quarters because the teller didn’t have any, but the employee who did was on lunch for one hour. I don’t have time other than my lunch break to come and get quarters, this is unacceptable. I can understand if the branch is completely out, but if you have the quarters, they should be available for PNC customers during all business hours. I will be continuing my primary services with Chase bank and will likely close this account.

I now go to the PNC in the suburbs. Although this one is alot closer to my business, the women at this bank are VERY unprofessional and run down with attitudes! It doesn't matter how kind you are or how polite, when you look like them it is not reciprocated. And one was management. To the owner of this bank, please be mindful of who you hire and know that a smile at an interview does not equal a good person who will treat people fairly. They get away with this because no one speaks up. I could not have been kinder to these women (3 different ones on 3 different occasions) and the response and treatment was absolutely disrespectful. I even thought about choosing my business with PNC but decided to just go out of my way to the suburbs.

Horrible customer service.I have been a PNC customer for over 20 years. It is definitely time for me to find another bank. This branch is the worst, but the service at others is not much better. There is an attitude that they are doing you a favor. I have never seen anything like it. To be honest I feel there is a climate of not enough good qualified workers and these companies take what they can get. The employees know nothing will happen to them. It is a state of the climate right now everywhere. Very sad, no one cares.

Came here to cash a check that was written out in my legal AMERICAN name. The clerk told me that the [Americanized] name did not match the name on my ID, and they couldn't help me.Ended up going to a different PNC Bank just outside of Philadelphia. The manager there apologized for the bad experience I had at the 40th and Walnut location. Its like this PNC location (40th and Walnut) doesn't want foreigners doing business there. Of all the banks I ever dealt with, PNC has some of the worst customer service. If you're an Americanized immigrant, don't go to this branch. They will discriminate against you.

One of these CSR told my son that he had to have an account there in order to get a roll of quarters! How dare you turn my son away after waiting in your ridiculous long line! I’m almost certain that’s not the rules! I’m gonna come here everyday and see if my son can point you out!

Waited here 30 min just for a debit card! Worst customer service ever! I highly would not recommend banking here. Oh yea and the 30 min wait was just for them to figure out what I came in for . A total of a hour wait for a debit card with no one in line

I had an 11:30 am appt on 40th st. Just one persons ahead of me onve she was finish she told me she will be with me I set another 20 min. And a male can in with no appt she took him before me and when i asked why she lied and said he had app one hour ago I.left there upset just to open a new acct. Ieft there at 1:15

Today, we were at this PNC branch. We deposited a check at the ATM. We requested a receipt with image, but we did not get any receipt. The same happened a few days ago. Therefore, we walked into the office. There was only one woman helping people, and she was helping a guy. While we waited, a woman came out of one of a cubicle, and she said that she would help us. While we followed her to her cubicle, we told her that we just wanted to complain that the ATM was not giving receipts. Then, someone else walked into the office, and she said to us to sign in and wait for our turn. That is very rude! There was nobody waiting when we came in, and she told us that she would help us. Moreover, nobody told us to sign in when we walked in. Even more so, we had told her already what the problem was, so she could easily have told us that it would be taken care of. After all, it was not our fault. That is not how you handle complaints. I have also tried to call PNC bank, but they were unable to handle my call due to large call volumes. Moreover, they do not take complaints in any other way. That is not acceptable. As for me, I will probably close my account and move my money to another bank.

Horrible customer service from management!! I been with this bank over 16 years!! Time for a change, not all branches but the University Branch off of 40th and Walnut is awful now!!! The worst service I ever got!
