Robert the banker at this location is a rockstar. He has helped me on two separate occasions in regards to banking statements I needed from a few years back. He was patience and thorough during each appointment, and I am truly grateful for his help.

Waited over an hour to see a banker to get a new debit card. Only one banker was available from 3 pm to 4 pm. I left at 4 pm after waiting over and hour and then advised to make appointment after not getting any help.

The incompetence and unprofessionalism at the 9th and Walnut branch is inconceivable. We have an account through a homeowners association. There are only three units in the building, and we owned two of them (my husband was the treasurer and I was the VP of the association). We recently sold both of our units and simply needed to have the homeowners account transferred to the new owners. Very simple. The manager of the branch is making it nearly impossible to make this very simple change. We, and new owners have been dealing with this for a few weeks now! My husband and I had an appointment with the manager yesterday to clear this up, since the manager would not deal with the new owners. Our appointment was for 1PM and he was in the bank but he simply refused to honor our appointment because he was in a meeting with other bank managers. Had he never heard of picking up the phone to call and change our appointment? We had to go over his head and talk to his manager to try to get any traction on this issue. We are still waiting for a resolution for this issue. In the meantime, we are not owners of the condo but bills continue to accrue. What is wrong with these people? Do not bank here. I am retired now but during my 30 years as a professional, I never once blew off an appointment with a customer. If I had, I would have been fired. I, very kindly, am not naming this manager. We were told by a banker there that only managers are permitted to deal with business accounts, and therefore the manager is the only one who can solve this problem. He apologizes for blowing us off but as yet has not made the necessary changes. Perhaps he will gain competence eventually, but how many building bills will accrue before he does become competent? I will also send this the PNC corporate office. Update: The manager just called. He has finally changed the mailing address of the account. However, my husband and I have not been removed from the account. So, the issue is only half resolved, after at least two weeks of this enormous hassle.

Yesterday Wednesday 9-16-2020 I left the DMV and walked over to 9th and Walnut Street to PNC BANK, I wanted to open a checking account, First I withdrew money from the PNC ATM WHICH COST $3.50, I was shocked, so I went into pnc and sat down, a young white man who I believe is a teller because I saw him knocking on the teller's door, so, he came back and asked me may I help you ? I said yes I would like to open a checking account, he said you will have to make an appointment, now the bank was not crowed, so I told him I'll take my money to TD BANK, he said please do so ! and I did.

This is your typical, average user review. I've had bank accounts with 3 banks in my lifetime, I use most features available on the online services, and I realize that the independent locations have little to nothing to do with the banks overall standing. Sometimes you get someone that's competent, sometimes you don't, that's just the industry. It's much like buying a cell phone, typically, i know more than the sales people... it's embarrassing. Anyways, I would like to advise anyone looking to start or jump to PNC to consider other options. I much prefer smaller banks, but if you must, stay away from PNC. They hammer you relentlessly with pointless fees if something goes off kilt. Seriously, I have never had a bank be so vigilant for a accidental $6 overdraft. Oh, and if you loose your card... good luck, they can't even print you a new one in the store... it's 7-10 days. Went to the stage coach bank, seems to be much more friendly and technologically advanced online. Peace PNC.

I must say that I love this bank. The tellers were friendly and efficient. All the staff greeted me and I just felt welcomed and that they were naturally concerned.

I agree with Liz F, the customer service at this branch is stellar!! No matter how long the line is when you walk in, you are always in and out super fast. The tellers really do remember you and make you feel like you're getting a personal experience, despite their effienciency in the transactions. This is easily the best PNC branch I've ever used.

This is the best bank EVER! Ever. Really. The customer service at this bank is outrageous. They greet you at the door and the tellers make small talk with you and remember your name, friends, life, etc. Going to any other PNC makes me depressed.
