My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer that metastasized to his brain in Nov of 2022. he had brain surgery and radiation in NYC (we live in New Jersey) on Feb of 2023. I began taking over the finances after his surgery and discovered a small home equity loan that had been transferred to their bankruptcy department because while we were praying and concerned with my husband's life, had gone past due. when I found out about this loan, I contacted PNC and their foreclosure dept (very nasty woman) ....I asked for the payoff and was given it. Had to obtain a bank cashiers check and bring my very I'll husband into the bank to pay it off. Even though I have a Power of Attorney for my husband, they wouldn't even take a check from me. it had to be him. My husband can barely walk at this point and at nearly 6 ft weighs 150 lbs. So we give them what I was TOLD was a payoff. Then I start receiving calls from them that we owed $5,000 in late fees and approx $235 in principal!?? I was told that the payoff they gave me was only the amount to get it out of foreclosure? . What? I asked for the PAYOFF and they gave me a figure. How is the $235 principal and or late fees NOT IN THE foreclosure ? PNC was nasty the whole time and unable to provide the answer as to why that amount was not in foreclosure. It made no sense. PNC finally said they'd see what they could do for us. Bottom line is what they did for us is quickly ADD THE LATE FEES TO PRINCIPAL so that it would accrue more interest. PNC - horrible people in their consumer loan decision making department. Terrible bank. Beware - do not use this bank. I only gave this a star because it was required.

One of my favorite branches to go to!I’ve been going here for some time and I’ve never met a teller with a bad attitude. They always have a line but never let their hard work ruin their day :)All the one star reviews saying they don’t have change but are neglecting the fact the bank is attached to a business district with high foot traffic. Maybe go to somewhere less in the middle of everything for better “personal business” results.

Thinking about getting a cash withdrawal here from your business account ...forget about it. The manager Davlas gave me every excuse on earth why I couldn't get my money & like a robot kept repeating "we can put in a request so you can have it next week ". But they will happily take your cash deposit in a sec. The teller Michelle at least was nice and tried to soften my frustration.Horrible service.

Seems weird to have one of your most expensive ATMs in the city in your branch location lol

Went as a customer to get 1 roll of quarters and was told by the manager that because I was not a business they wouldn’t give me any. They have no problem taking my money as an individual but clearly we are of no value to them. If it weren’t for the 9th and walnut branch who gives coins to all customers I would end my 20 yr relationship with PNC and find another bank. Coin shortage or not once you start valuing businesses over individuals you are a failure of a community bank. Avoid this branch and PNC if you can.

Very lame staff, only 1 out to 2 (total no. Of employees) work at any given point.Went first day for certified check the teller said she needs manager approval and he has left for the day(in the middle of the day).Went again next day, after taking all details and printing the check she said manager is in a meeting and needs to wait, stayed there for 45 mins no luck!!Ridiculous overall.

I've been to this branch many times. I'm always greeted politely when I enter. They have always been quick to help me or resolve any issues. I have been a pnc customer for over thirteen years.

Ridiculous Have been a customer for many years and had intended to continue my business with them this morning. I had let a check ready auto purchase check expire and had intended to have it reissued this morning if possible. In order to ascertain if I could do so I called this branch directly around 10am. The women on the line put me on hold and went to check that they could provide the service. After she returned to the line and informed me they could in fact do this today in branch I set out to the branch and that's when I realized how horrid pnc bank customer service performs. Upon arriving the front desk customer service rep, Gary, was on the phone discussing his intent to vote for Bernie. Good for him, what's bothersome is that Gary continued on his conversation while I waited. Eventually I decided to check with the teller instead. She tried to be helpful unfortunately we needed to work with Gary. She walked me over back to the front desk where Gary Sat at which time he told his phone conversation counterpart that he had to go, he had a customer. To which I was a bit surprised after standing in front of him for a few minutes previously I hadn't been a customer, I can only assume that if he informed his counter part on the phone he had to go as a reduction a customer it was even remotely a work related call that devolved into politics. Regardless Gary rudely informed me that I would have to reapply online. Which would have been fine had I not been told an hour earlier that branch could handle it. Simply put, I have a few personal accounts and some business accounts at PNC, after my experience today I will be moving them as well as my loan business to a different Bank. I have no tolerance, not should you, for horrid banking service. Seth
