There is simply absolute, off the charts whimsy at this place. You really just have to see it for yourself.

Arrived on foot after the museum was already closed. Liked what I saw from the outside! Seems like so much effort, imagination, love and a sense of community went into creating this place.
The indoor museum exhibit is worth it so next time I'm in the area, that is on my list!!

Breathtaking. Pictures don't do it justice. You've gotta see it in person.
I also love that one of the missions of PMG is to support local artists ? There's excellent local art for sale in the gift shop.
Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens (PMG) is an immersive mixed media art environment that is completely covered with mosaics. The creator, Isaiah Zagar, used handmade tiles, bottles, bicycle wheels, mirror, and international folk art to chronicle his life and influences. The space is made up of two indoor galleries and a bi-level outdoor sculpture garden. As a nonprofit museum, PMG celebrates art in its many forms through community outreach, public programs, hands-on activities, exhibitions, and tours. We welcome everyone to explore the space and embrace the possibility of self-expression. Admission tickets are timed entry and are available for purchase in advance on our website.
