BE VERY CAREFUL USING THE ONLINE APP TO MAKE YOUR DONATION!!! I donate to Philabundance yearly but when I attempted to donate this year using my phone, I thought my payment hadn't processed so I repeated my action for the payment. As it turns out, the website had a "piggy-back" scam which caused me to involuntarily donate additional money to an organization called "No Kid Hungry". Naturally, I was upset that I had been scammed in this manner and I felt guilty for not wanting to go along with this additional donation. However, after researching this No Kid Hungry organization, I think it is not a worthy cause to donate to...donors beware and careful about using these "convenient" online donor payment situations.

I love the people of Philabundance - those who donate their time and resources. Truly kind-hearted people who do good and essential work to help those in need in our community. I donate food every year and just dropped off a donation locally today.

I've witnessed firsthand how essential Philabundance's work is to supporting our neighbors dealing with food insecurity. I worked at a community center that distributed weekly Philabundance groceries and takeaway meals to hundreds of those in need. You can volunteer on their website to do a 3-hour food packing shift at their distribution center. I've participated in these shifts and donor nights. It's a great workout for an important cause, and you make new friends working together.
