I have three children, a 3 year old and 1 year old twins. We've been seeing Dr. Poblete since their births. I'll go into greater depth below, but briefly, she has been an incredibly trusted advisor to my whole family and as much support as she's offered to our babies, she's offered to me and my husband navigating becoming new parents during/after a global pandemic. That's a big deal, and she's doing this for a lot of families.
We became parents during Covid and didn't know what to expect. Dr. Poblete helped us navigate our decisions with daycare/family members who had different Covid procedures than we did.
One of our children struggled to nurse effectively, she caught this early and helped me save my breastfeeding journey. She celebrated our child's subsequent milestones with as much enthusiasm as we did.
One of our children had a severe bacterial infection two weeks after birth, she navigated a conversation with scared parents and sent us to CHOP, they said it was good we got our baby there when we did.
We've unfortunately had a bunch of other weird health circumstances that she's helped to navigate us through. It's been incredibly helpful to have someone in our corner and who is familiar with our children's history since birth and who we trust.
She once called me from outside of the country when my baby had a 106 fever and talked me through steps to take before rushing to urgent care or CHOP. I was really scared and she was so calm. My baby was fine, we just needed to know how to proceed.
I feel pretty grateful to have her in our lives and she's been an integral part of our entry into parenting.
I did note that a few reviewers critique the front desk for not smiling. If you've made it this far through this review I would ask you, --It's 2024, are we not finished telling women they need to smile?

Oh how the mighty have fallen. I used to sing Dr. Poblate's praises as I have had my children here since 2020 and Dr. Poblate used to be extremely thorough and nice. But over the past few months things have really declined....
1.They routinely overcharge me. At my daughter's recent well visit I got needlessly charged extra for a sick visit.
2.This is a one doctor practice, and they rescheduled a well visit with a make up doctor without informing me.
3.On another recent visit with Dr. Poblate, she barked at me about remembering the tylenol dosage for my child, she was annoyed that patients call her up too much asking for the dosage (I have never done this personally)
4.The front desk staff and nurses are extremely rude and unpleasant and don't know how to smile.
5. And lastly (and worst of all), on a recent visit she complained about other patients to her staff in front of me, once while actually administrating vaccines to my 4 month old baby. This to me was extremely unprofessional.
Needless to say I switched practices and highly recommend you avoid if you can. The $15 they charge to transfer medical records is worth it...

Dr Poblete has been nothing but perfect for our family and we’re very lucky to have someone who cares this much about their profession in our area. She is extremely responsive and truly cares. Cannot recommend them more!

My 2.5 year old has been seeing Dr. Poblete since birth. The way she is available to her patients is astonishing to say the least. Expect quick responses and action, whenever your child is in need of care. And she's got a great sense of humor which is necessary when raising a child.

Dr. Poblete cared for all 3 of my children for 5 years. I cannot express how truly amazing she was. We recently switched to find a closer pediatrician since we moved and I’m ALWAYS regretting my decision. I was spoiled with the level of attention and care she gave to my children. On top of that the staff was amazing and down to earth, never once had a billing issue.

Doctor Poblete has been my sons doctor for over a year. We unfortunately moved to Texas and we still wanted her to be his pediatrician but even she said for the best interest of our son, to find a doctor closer. which we knew was coming sooner or later but with that being said, you already know how much we love her. She always picks up the phone even after hours, messages back quickly. reassures us when we are panicking. She always finds time to squeeze us in when we panic about every little thing as we are new parents. Many I see says shes "expensive" but in my opinion, even if i pay a little more, the availability and flexibility and the constant reply and reassurance is worth it. we love doctor poblete. she is one of a kind and just a caring and amazing doctor. i recommend her to everyone.

Once you step into this facility, a dark cloud is over the staff. They don’t know how to greet people and I guess they don’t even know how to smile. As a patient’s parent I have to say that I automatically felt not welcomed. Either train your staff properly on how to welcome patients or replace them. As the first encounter at a pediatrician’s practice is vital to keep patients and create a positive environment.

Dr. Poblete is absolutely the best. She is always on top of all the development milestones. She is very responsive for any questions or concerns regardless of the time of day. My older child goes to a different practice (bigger practice with multiple healthcare providers) because I wasn’t aware of her practice and wish I had found her sooner! She is absolutely amazing and the amount of care she has for your child exceeds the bigger practices. Also I have not encountered parking issues. Usually find parking on brown street.

We LOVE Dr. Poblete and this practice. Her team is great - she is quick to respond to questions/concerns even on off hours and has a great bedside manner (so important to our fam w/ a toddler & newborn in the mix!) . We've moved out of the neighborhood but have stuck with our practice because she's an incredible doctor. She always remembers little details about our family and asks thoughtful questions - we don't know how she does it. She's the best!

Dr. Poblete is incredible. She cares so much about her patients and is available around the clock, even on weekends. She even follows up after sick visits to see how the kids are recovering. She’s the best!

Best pediatrician ever. My kids absolutely love her, and I am so thankful for her too. She is very responsive whether it's a little or big concern, and I feel like we've always been in good hands.
