Oh my gosh, I'm obsessed with the Papery of Philadelphia!! This stationary store is SO cute, and the staff are so incredibly kind! :-) I visited this weekend with a friend while we were in Philadelphia, PA for a conference, and I'm so glad we did. They have an incredible selection of cards, stationary, candles, posters, and adorable trinkets. The atmosphere inside of the store is so beautiful, too!!

We highly recommend Carolyn and her team at The Papery for wedding stationary! We were so happy with their work for our August 2024 wedding at Old St. Joseph's and The Museum of the American Revolution. Jessica Huttlin designed our full wedding day suite.
Early on in wedding planning, I thought it would be fun to design our invitations myself on Minted. It worked, but when it came time to do all of the details for the programs, menus, welcome note/map, and more, I knew I was truly an amateur and needed professional help. We were able to take the invitations we designed on Minted to The Papery and create a complimentary set of designs to round out our suite. The work was beautiful and truly custom. They were even able to include a drawing of the church that we had been gifted as a shower present on our program. We got so many compliments on the welcome note/map, the program, and our favor tag, which told a personal story about how we fell in love with a particular brand of chocolate.
Aside from the custom work, The Papery itself is a lovely shop in Old City.

Carolyn, owner, + team, did an incredibly fabulous job on our wedding invites and details of the day cards for the day of. They are creative, accommodating, speedy, organized, lovely to deal with, ingenious and super high quality craftsmen. I LOVE the end product. It felt created just for me. All of it framed in our home. And the icing on the cake? Carolyn is an amazing vivacious human that cares about you and the end result. Couldn’t recommend more highly. I’m grateful they were referred to me! ?

I love this store!Great selection of cards for all occasions! Beautiful wrapping paper and trims with an excellent selection of unique gifts. If you’re looking for that stocking stuffer, this is the place to go!Also, the flower arrangements that they install throughout the year are spectacular! Thank you for adding beauty to our neighborhood!

This is a beautiful store with a significant number of unique greeting cards and other paper goods. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were searching for a particular product, a small masculine styled journal, that we were unable to find here but would recommend for other paper products.

We used the Papery of Philadelphia for our wedding invitations, day-of paper goods, and thank you notes and everything was absolutely beautiful! Not only did Carolyn and her staff create the perfect paper products to match the atmosphere of our wedding, but also created several customized digital artwork pieces for us including artwork of our wedding venue and a personalized crest. We loved the items so much that we are framing some of the art in our home. She also helped us with putting together personalized items for our wedding welcome bags. In addition, prices were very fair and her team worked quickly, including some last minute edits. Would highly recommend!

2020 has been a really tough year. Easily the biggest highlight for us was our wedding which just preceded the onset of the COVID pandemic. And we will be eternally thankful to Carolyn and her whole team at the Papery for the huge role they played in making our day so special. We first encountered The Papery’s work at wedding showcase events around Philadelphia and it was clear to us immediately that they were the cream of the crop. The creativity, variety, customization and quality was simply unmatched. When we went in to meet with Carolyn it was obvious that she was both a true professional and an artist. She was able to translate our vague vision into custom stationery and signage that perfectly matched the vibe we were looking for. It was an immense relief to know that we were in such good hands and didn’t need to worry about it at all. Carolyn at the Papery is the best woman in the city for invitations. My daughter and I went to her for the "Save the Dates". They were absolutely beautiful!! When we returned for the invites we had a time constraint. Not only did Carolyn see us right away, she had proofs for us in 24 hrs. My daughter's custom wedding invitations were beyond our expectations. Not only were they exactly what we wanted they were expedited and mailed in no time. Her attention to detail and personal service is what sets her apart from others. She is truly a gem.
