Very helpful staff. I went in looking for some very specific name tags and the man at the front desk found exactly what I was looking for!

Delightful quirky independent business offering a selection of ready made and bespoke greetings cards as well as other stationery and a small selection of British chocolates. They are quite pricey but have a good range of unusual cards – unusual not least because they lack the long, soupy, pre-printed greetings that are typical of the big brands. Credit cards accepted.

Check your receipt. The balding guy with the glasses and a bad attitude purposely rang up $3 stickers as $6 magnets.

Stopped into paper on pine yesterday to get some gifts for my friend that moved out of Philly. The customer service was great and the man with the glasses was so hilarious! They had great products and all of the Philly merch you can imagine. I ended up buying an eagles hand towel. Definitely will come here again mainly because the customer service experience was so great!

Extremely disappointed by my visit to Paper on Pine. I stopped in after noticing some of the cool-looking gifts in their window. The store is pretty large so me and my group of 2 other people were inside browsing for 15-20 minutes. There was one employee, an older man with glasses, and the whole time he did not acknowledge us even though we were the only people in the store. A hello would have been nice, but my experience was still mostly positive at that point. When I approach the counter to pay, the man working heads over to the other end of the store to tidy some shelves. Me and my group wait patiently for a few minutes before he comes back, gives a rude look, and asks "That all?" I cordially say "Yes, thank you", pay for my items and head out. As I am heading home and already out of Philadelphia, I glance at the receipt and notice he rang up what were supposed to be $3 stickers as $6 magnets. I don't mind paying $6 for a sticker, but blatantly charging for a different, higher-ticket item is outright fraud and deception. The customer service already left a bad taste in my mouth and this was the cherry on top.

Loved this place! A good choice of different souvenirs to bring back when you visit Philly, tasteful things and baby onesies and socks for example. Also saw many puzzles and a few books, all neat! Owner is very nice, we almost couldn’t leave! Of course, quality is a little more pricey, but worth it.

I don’t go to Philadelphia Center City very often these days, but when I do visit the downtown area, Paper on Pine is one of my favorite places to go. Keep in mind that the store may not be readily visible if you are not familiar with the location. Also, parking near the store can be an issue, but there are loading zones in the vicinity. As far as I know, Paper on Pine has the best card selection in town, among other items. They are classy and well made, and yes, can be costly. However, if you are looking for something special, check out their store. They have good service too. I highly recommend them.

I thought Paper on Pine was super cute. They had a really good selection of cards for all occasions. They also had an array of small gifts, which I always love to see in stores like these. My favorite though, were the Philadelphia custom painted cards. They each had a landmark Philly location painted on them. I ended up getting one for myself. They also do custom designs, I saw one of the employees working on something out front while visiting. Definitely recommend checking this place out, especially if you simply find yourself walking around the neighborhood.

Visited Paper on Pine from a yelp event and can't wait to return! Such a cute store featuring cards, invitations, stickers and more. Plenty of ways to customize or send some Philly love to your friends and family. Will return once I need to purchase some more cards. Thanks Yelp for introducing me to such a great business

For such a cute store for a variety of gifts the service and policies are a little ridiculous. With a receipt you can only return for a store credit and if you lose your receipt you're just SOL. The customer service is also questionable. I asked about the return policy and the response I got was "why? Are you going to return some greeting cards?" I asked to keep my original receipt and I was given some hesitation before actually being able to keep it.

I am SO HAPPY that I found this store. It is the only store in Philadelphia that carries Retro 1951 ink cartridges. Will definitely be back. Amazingly sweet and helpful staff.
