Good old school local gym in heart of city. They do weekly passes at a good rate. Equipment is decent and the staff are really really friendly. The lady on the reception is super nice and helpful. She adds a really nice atmosphere to the place.

If I could give this place ZERO stars or negative I would. Especially as a woman. Not only will guys, and tons of teenage boys stare and harass you but this place has been violently broken into more than once. Someone started a fire in the rock climbing room. There's mold literally everywhere. I got sick for three days from exposure. There's leaks from the roof that's literally caving in from the ceiling the the owner TIEN won't do anything about it. He treats his employees Iike garbage and doesn't even pay them for months. It's disgusting. The sweetest desk woman there tries so hard that she has to sleep overnight just to clean WHILE NOT PAYING HER. Eric was also a favorite that quit. The equipment is filthy and rusty so be sure to get your vaccines. There are several warning and legal stickers al over the gym that should be closed but the owner Rips them off all the time. Cameras don't work so LADIES BEWARE. The male to female ratio is like 1 female to 6 guys. Don't give this a** any of your money. He's got tons of businesses elsewhere and has money plus tons of lawsuits. He just does NOT care. Don't even get me started on his crazy family at the gym. His brother got kicked out years ago for harassing female customers simply wanting to work out. Unless you want to end up with mold poisoning or deal with the drama of fires and meth he

Member here for a year or so. It's by far the cheapest gym in the neighborhood and it is the definition of "no frills." It has all the standard gym equipment but the pool is gone and honestly it feels like a relic from the 80's. When the city began to reopen, I went to pause my membership because I knew I wouldn't feel comfortable going there while the pandemic raged on. I walked in to find the front desk associate without a mask. It wasn't on his chin or hanging off his ear - he had no mask in sight. I asked him if he was "y'know, worried" about not wearing a mask and being back at work when the CDC was warning that gyms were the highest possible risk category. He responded with a "nope," which kind of gave me the feeling he thinks all *waves arms chaotically around head* this is all a joke. If your most essential of staff doesn't believe there's a problem, why would I trust them with my health and wellness or to even take the cleanliness (which never seemed to be a priority to this establishment) seriously? Membership canceled. Leaves a lot to be desired, but I guess you really do get what you pay for.

Over the several years I was a member at OG, no improvements were made to any of the equipment. Things are only fixed after they've been dangerously neglected for weeks/months. (eg frayed machine cables, busted seats, inoperable cardio equipment.)Once you're finally fed up, they keep charging you up to four months after canceling your membership.

if they're still closed, why are they saying they're open?

This gym has a lot of options for machines and free weights. The equipment is older and outdated, but you can still do a lot here. Basketball court is small, but fun for shooting around. I've gone at different times throughout the day and week, but it is never super packed with people.

Gym is essentially falling apart and should be demolished. Poor heating, poor or no AC, the pool has become a trash pit. I signed up for a year long contract under a promotion and the management repeatedly incorrectly billed me for more than my monthly fee I agreed to in my contract. Multiple emails heeded no results or responses. The gym itself does not provide all new/updated equipment as advertised on their website, but an entire room of the gym seems to be strictly supplied with 30-40 year old equipment. When machines break, it takes ages to fix, and some of the cardio machines will only function with uncomfortable and unbearable squeaking. Many of the gym members who go late at night do not rerack equipment and leave messes, making it difficult to follow a workout planned in advance if all the free weights are scattered and you can’t lift some to put them back for the negligent members. When the pool itself was functioning it was so poorly chemically balanced that the over saturation of calcium made it impossible to see through the water and was a safety hazard if someone were to have drowned and their body not have been seen at the bottom (use at your own risk type facility). The pool itself, when it wasn’t filled with rubble, was too short for any productive swimming activities. From being unairconditioned through July to being too under heated to get a sweat going throughout the winter, with unresponsive management and sketchy billing practices, I do not recommend. Only positive here are the classes, and that is only for the merit of the instructors

They are expensive with no customer service. Their stuff is old, rundown and they won't fix anything. Sometimes they put tape on sharp edges of the rundown equipment, but that's not a guarantee. Also they will keep charging you two months after you cancel. Avoid the problems and go somewhere else.

After years of going here I cancelled my membership. Nearly a year later I’ve found I have still been charged even more than I would be as a member.

Tim Tran the owner is rude dose not have any cooth,The only reason I signed up is because of my trainer. The condition of the gym is really poor. The women's bathroom and showers are disgusting and never clean as well as never have toliet tissue and paper towels. With your membership your suppose to have full access to the gym,but you cannot go for a swim because the pool is off limits and has mold everywhere.Ive been at this gym for three months and no one has done anything about the poor condition.ill upload some pictures to show you how disgusting it is in there.

PLEASE READ:This is the least favorite gym I ever went to ever since I moved down to South Philly Queen Village area. The 2nd floor always leaks when rain start coming down and another weird thing is the people live in the 1st floor one of the attendants smoke cigarette/others so the gym will be stinking. The boxing and everything was decent but at the same time everything looks like it's broken down. Than when I tried to cancel my membership I tried to contact the owner and he never responded so I had to go there and explain everything and they were giving me a hard time and last one of the worker's kid run around the gym a lot so be careful. At the end this gym isn't really worth it unless you have a tight schedule with work and etc. Last the owner doesn't know what he was doing sometime and there was a lot of confusion with opening my account and closing the account. I wish this gym was better

This gym " gets the job done", is affordable and open 24 hours. It's clean although a bit outdated however it is going through renovations a bit at a time. People are friendly and it's never too crowded to get a bike/elliptical/treadmill. Overall it's good for the low price.

The equipment is real old the only good thing is its 24hours. I've been going to this gym for years and nothing new. I working on equipment the Apollo Creed worked out on.
