While I initially believed my experience was unique, it seems others share similar sentiments in their reviews. Despite my love for this store and its fantastic products, the drawback lies in the consistently rude and unhelpful demeanor of the workers. Their behavior, treating customers as burdens and scolding them, diminishes the potential of an otherwise great place. Improvement in customer service and management is crucial for creating a more inviting atmosphere. Moreover, despite my inclination to support local businesses, the recurrent encounters with discourteous employees have led me to merely take pictures and divert my spending towards Amazon. While I genuinely appreciate the store and its offerings, the persistent issue of unfriendly staff hampers my desire to contribute to the local establishment. The need for enhanced customer service and management is evident for fostering a more positive and supportive community.

This is the cutest stationary store in Philly. I love getting cards and pens from this store. They have a curated book section.

Fantastic shop on Old City. Really eclectic and varied gifts. I can easily shop for several people at this location. High quality and thoughtful mix of goods. This shop needs to be on your agenda if shopping for Christmas, birthday or just any occasion.

Cutest stationery store in PHL. There was so much to love. I spent too much on such little things - so it goes! The *real* bread lamps (baguettes, croissants!) are amazing. They have the cutest sunglasses for kids. Tiny leather pouches. Fun jewelry and beaded brooches. Be prepared to touch and want everything.

I love this shop! I recommend it to all my friends. For someone who has a hard time getting and staying organized, it's so important for me to be excited about my notebooks and pens and things! Thank you Omoi!

I ended up not buying much here but some of my friends did, still worth a visit though and surprised to be able to stamp my Travelers Notebook for the first time with an official partner shop stamp. I’d love to buy a few bigger items from the shop, but since I flew in that isn’t really an option, though they luckily have an online shop. Plenty to look at and test, tons of interesting artifacts, and very nice staff member.

BEST. STATIONARY. STORE. EVER. My wife and I spent over 2 hours in here trying to figure out what to buy as we wanted everything. You have to go here if you love stationary, home goods, or light travel accessories.

One of the best stationary shops around! I love the selection of notebooks and stickers. They also have an adorable home section too.

I have had this shop on my 'want to go' list for FOREVER. If you are a stationery lover (or should I say addicted?), you definitely need to come here. I spent $60 here. Oops. To be fair, when the hell am I going to come back to Philly in the future? I don't know but I went ham. Got a notebook, stickers, and incense. The notebook and incense were the priciest and might actually be overpriced because the notebook I got was $25 and online at another store was $14. Scammed :( I guess I'll take it as supporting a local shop in this inflated expensive world that we rent in LOL. What I was also really excited about is that they have a special stamp that you can stamp into your notebook so I'm happy I got to do that! Also, I did in the past order notebooks from them and have it shipped to my home in NY before. It was fast shipping too. Not sure if they still do that but FYI.

Beside that, their little items are such cute ideal gifts for occasion. You should check this place out :)

I can not talk highly enough of the customer service and kindness exuded in this store. Firstly, the store’s atmosphere is great, calming and cozy. Fun and easy to shop in, the products are of high quality, but the highest of quality in the store is the employees. Shay, Lex and Liz K are such amazing people who are knowledgeable not only about what is in store, but in just about anything we conversed about. My day had started off rather lackluster, and then descended from there, but the absolute kindness and care I received at Omoi Zakka brightened my day more than I can say.

An adorable small shop filled with stationary that are to die for. The atmosphere is very chill and the merchandise is top quality. I bought a journal there. I also love the Philadelphia tour guide pamphlet they give. I need to check out their recommendations. Very cute, I will be returning to buy a pen!

Quickly becoming one of my favorite Old City shops for gifts that are not Philly-themed. They have a selection of beautiful gifts for yourself or someone else, including jewelry, watches, sunglasses, kitchen gadgets, fountain pens and ink, paper products, reusable shopping bags (and other Baggu products), books and other random things. There's definitely a Japanese aesthetic to some of their products but also an emphasis on simple style and sustainability. The selection changes pretty quickly so go often!

Make sure to not miss this spot when visiting old city in Philly. They carry unique finds, rare magazines, and amazing brands. Also, they sell books! Met a fellow designer while browsing the store. Had a 10/10 experience!
